We provide estimates free of charge and are flexible to meet and discuss your project around your schedule. Although most of the work we offer is done by our employees, we have strong work relationships with qualified sub-contractors that specialize in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing. Still, I like him, I just wish that he was more professional.
1- His initial bid turned out to be SUBSTANTIALLY lower then the project ended up costing... by like, twice! I can understand some cost over-runs but... whoa... that was a big miscalculation!
2- I wish, in retrospect, that he would have steered me in a different design direction then we ended up going in. It appears to me now that a different design would have been more interesting to the eye, more cost effective and would lead to fewer maintenance issues.
3- He mentions the he has a guarantee on his work. That does not seem to be the case. There are some minor problems that developed ... he came and observed the problem... even offered a solution. I've been trying for months to have him execute those solution ideas.... I'd even pay him the labor costs to get it done but... that leads me to the next concern.
4- He just stopped responding to me. By email or phone. I'm really quite polite. I understand he is busy but... come on. Tell me you are really busy and that you'll follow up in X time.
Again, Ryan is a good guy but just not professional enough to recommend.
