Oscar and Lillian were a pleasure to deal with and competitively priced. Oscar has an excellent eye for design and his work crew did a fantastic job re-landscaping the lower portion of our backyard. It looks so much better than I could have even imagined it.

I feel compelled to post this review after reading of another client's similar unfortunate experience with this company. I hate to say negative things about people trying to make a living, so I only do so when I feel it absolutely in the public's interest. My experience: I had set up twice-weekly mowings with them and had used them for some time when they came to my home and without my permission or knowledge performed unauthorized 'clean up' work and demanded a huge payment. I took it to the Better Business Bureau and they supported my case. In addition, the crew broke my fence gate and despite my attempts to merely get Oscar to acknowledge the damage (I didn't even ask for payment to repair it, I just wanted an explanation), he ignored repeated messages. When they came for scheduled mowings, they spent an average of 15 minutes doing slapdash, cursory work. Their idea of "weeding" is spraying toxins on the ground, which they do not disclose before hand. Communication is very difficult. It was the unauthorized work and attempt to get payment for it that finally pushed me over the edge. That practice is, plain and simple, illegal.

Oscar and Lillian provided a quote and the lists of tasks they would complete very quickly after I contacted them. A crew of four to five worked for over eight hours the first day and about four hours the second day on weeding flower beds, cleaning up and weed eating the tall grass on the hill, cleaning out blackberries, and pruning shrubs. The crew was punctual, professional, and hauled away all debris. It was a pleasure to work with this company!

This is over a one and half year period. It may be at least partially my fault for staying with them so long. Mulching beds - were asked to place 4 inches on beds; placed 8 and billed for latter. In the process covered and smothered multiple new plantings- many which I found after searching around. Since then each time they would blow and cover up small plantings. It made me really upset to go out and work in the garden and find suffocating plants every time. I removed bags of mulch (pictures below). They Installed two french drains for upper boggy area bypassing the main portion of yard with bog so it never drained. Oscar refused to rework despite thick standing mud and instead his crew just mowed over it damaging and compacting soil further. (picture below) Unsolicited, six workers came and performed several hours of pruning in early January 2017. Pruned buds off of spring flowering shrubs and then presented me with bill! This was several hundred dollars despite being on a weekly plan that was billed monthly. It had not included all pruning work. I had not requested or scheduled this work and stopped them after three hours! Further more, I had a verbal agreement with Oscar for weekly scheduled work and billing. Nothing about a flat monthly fee was ever clarified with me. Attempts to discuss the discrepancy went nowhere as calls from Lillian were not answered and she does not text. This year, I was billed for an entire month of service when in fact the workers came once. I disputed the bill and they would not negotiate. They simply refused the partial payment. Workers speak no English which normally isn't a problem when communication is adequate, but it is not. They do not weed beds. Several areas of the yard have blackberry coming up (which is new), morning glory, and bamboo which the previous owner planted far off to the side. This was ignored for the duration of services and became established in a several areas. Get all terms in writing (Oscar said to me he didn't do contracts when the work was intially agreed upon in 2016). They clearly want it both ways - a monthly contract even when they take time off for three months in winter but get paid anyway, then do unsolicited work for which they will bill amply.

Oscar and his crew showed up right on time and work solid until the job was done in the afternoon. His crew is professional, hardworking and detailed in the work they performed. My yard now looks very clean & manicured so I have say my husband and I are very happy with their work. We have hired them to do weekly maintenance of mowing & blowing. I would like to add that Lillian Oscars wife is a wonderful person and a joy to talk to over the phone setting everything up. I know that if I ever have any questions Lillian is always quick to call me back.

Felt it was a little oversold, otherwise good. Never followed up with the biweekly maintenance plan that was discussed.

Very well. Installed new carburetor and fixed other issues that need attention. Engine starts on first pull of the starter cord.

Job done well and according to request. Friendly, efficient and professional.

Went great! They arrived around 8:30 and were finished by 4:30. They cleaned up the area, even mowed and trimmed my yard! It looks terrific! We will hire them again for future projects. Nice people!

In two days Oscar created an idyllic oasis, with contoured grass and beautiful raised mounds, lush coverage and the privacy I sought. It is beautiful beyond what I could imagine and I am delighted by it every day. Same effect with the pavers path Oscar built around the side. His team did the hard work of digging out a deep base, filling it with sand and setting the stones with edging so they are level and stable. 100 percent professional job. Plus he designed it with a two-tone flair which looks fantastic. Oscar and Lillian are a joy to work with. They communicate well, fulfill as promised and are driven by complete customer satisfaction. On a scale of 1 to 5, they are a ten!

Competitive bid, prompt, courteous, hardworking and delivered as promised. I would use them again.

Oscar and his crew arrived and never stopped moving till they drove away. Very hard working and experienced group. They trimmed a 50 year old 4'x7'x85' hedge that was 10' to 15' over grown. They did a great job on shaping and straightening & squaring the hedge. They were properly equipped to handle the job with full size commercial grade tools. They properly covered their very full dump truck so no trimming would blow out. First Class operation.

Oscar and his crew gave me back my back yard! Anyone who lives in the NW knows how quickly a yard can get overgrown if you don't get that last cut in before the fall and winter rains start. Mine was a mess! Knee high in most places. They weedeated all the back yard first then mowed it twice to get it back to a yard again. They also did my front lawn and weeded the gardens, trimmed the shrubs and flowers, and edged. They also raked and carted it all away - a full truckload too! His guys took the time to spruce up the flowers and shrubs in the front and moved some small rocks around to make the garden more attractive. Nice touch! My wife and I are very happy with the results and recommend them to anyone. We are seriously thinking of hiring them to come regularly now!

Oscar's Lawn Service completely transformed our yard. They took out unneeded hedges and stumps and laid gravel to extend the driveway out. They tilled and laid new grass. The backyard was cleaned up and also had new grass planted. It has improved the look of our house by 1000 times. His guys worked extremely hard and he made sure we were satisfied with the finished product. I will use him again and recommend him highly to anyone! He works magic!

Oscar and his wife are life savers. After our tenants moved out we needed a quick fix to a yard that was in poor shape. Within two weeks we were ready for photos to put the house on the market. Oscar and his crew responded very quickly to our request for service and we were scheduled within two weeks.  He is well know in our NE area and his services are in frequent demand. They arrived on time and worked steadily throughout the day to fix out aging landscape.  When they were done, it looked amazing and we are very pleased.  This is our second visit from Oscar and his crew and we have been please with the outcome of both visits.  We plan to have him return and help us with our overgrown back yard in the future as well.
