Orkin Pest Control

I didn't have any problem or issue with. It was very good. They came out. They were efficient and thorough.

It turned out okay, but the pest inspection varies with each attendant that comes out. The ant treatment was okay. If I'm there they do a good job but if not there then its kind of the luck of the draw.

When I tried calling the number they had listed at the time, I couldn't get through.  I tried several numbers for Orkin in Tacoma and never made contact so I gave up.

First, the report issued on 6/16/2015 was not accurate. When I walked around and inspected, a wasp nest was plainly visible in the roof air vent above the main living room. An additional nest was in the eaves at the peak of the East side of the house had another nest. Both were very active. I responded to an ORKIN survey and a representative called me on Monday, 6/29/2015 and left a message. I called back and left a voice message describing the active wasp nests. There was no additional follow-up calls made by Orkin and no tech came out to address this issue. On 7/3/2015, I killed off the nest on the East side of my house and ordered a device to reach the one over my living room. 
I started with Orkin's service on May 31, 2014. The reason I hired Orkin was to treat Wasp Nests at my residence. The initial visit in 2014 seemed impressive and the technician treated the active nests. I signed up for periodic visits for wasp nests and general pest treatments around the foundation. Shortly after this initial treatment, I noticed that the nests were becoming more active, not less. I called Orkin and they repeated the treatment and finally succeeded in this task. I emphasize that the whole reason for this work order with Orkin was to treat active wasp nests at my residence. In fact, I have been treating the nests as they appear since the Orkin tech assigned does not. 
The one thing that Orkin does well is billing and charging my credit card. The company comes to the residence on their own schedule and never calls ahead to see if someone will be home or try to coordinate. I (the customer) have no way of confirming that any work was actually performed. Calls to the company end up in voice mail tag. I'm sorry to say that this experience has been painful and I will be ending my relationship with this company.

t 52nd StrOn August 4 I killed a termite that was flying around my living room. I left a message with Orkin, because it was a Sunday evening. On Monday August 5 I received a call from a lady at Orkin who asked my what I needed, put me on hold and lost the call. She never called back. The next day, August 6, I called Orkin and was assured that someone would call me later in the day to schedule my termite inspection. Nobody ever called me. Evidently they don't need my business.

They do a pretty good service.

They are good folks. They service well. We have had them for six or seven years. They are responsive when we have an issue in between that we have issues with spiders. We use Orkin at another place we live at another house on the other side of the country that we had years ago. We have previous experience with them and they did an excellent job. We had termites there and they came in and controlled that. That is why I did not have any problems calling them this time. I think you get what you pay for and I think their service is excellent.

It goes well every year.

I don't have any major problems, but they are keeping the carpenter ants away. They use their eyes and look around to see what the problems are. They are basically keeping the carpenter ants away. They look under the eaves to see if any nests are being built, and, if so, they will take care of it. If I have an emergency or some pests that hadn't been there when they came out, they will come back for free. I will continue to use this provider.

.I like their customer service and their scheduling is very flexible.

Orkin did a wonderful job at using agents that weren't so toxic. The chemicals that they used didn't cause me to have any reactions.

They did what they were supposed to do, but they weren't the best; I would not go back to them for pest control. There were some billing issues I had with them.

I have had great success and they did a good job getting rid of the ants; I have not had any more around here. I think they are charging too much money so I am going to look for another vendor; but I am going to keep using them for a while since they said they will match a lower price if I get one.

If we have a problem between visits they are here usually within 24 hours. Their prices are the same as everyone else. We have been very pleased with them.

The workers at Orkin are very detailed and always on time. What I really like about them is that they will come back any time at no charge if I see something after they have completed the job. I remember one time I came home and there was a big ant problem. They came right back out and took care of it at no extra cost.

They are okay. They did a good job. They are really the only ones I have ever used. I ended my contract ended last August. I think I spent too much. One has to sign a yearly contract and I didn't like that, even though I just needed them for one day. So it is not that they didn't do a good job, it is just that I don't like having to pay every single month. They will come and spray every three months but I don't like just paying for it if I don't need them. I want to find somebody that would just come and treat the problem that I call about and not have to do it for a whole year then I would probably go someplace else. I used them for an emergency, when I had about twenty million ants came into my room and they were my first line of defense. They are not open on weekends so that really isn't a good thing. I will only use them if I am not able to find anyone else.

They got rid of the bugs, and the bugs have never come back. When he comes he checks for anything that encourages bugs to come into my home. He is very thorough.

I was very happy with there work, they all seem knowlegeable and very nice answering all my questions.

All went very well. They were a little later than the scheduled time but nothing to complain about. They worked quietly, quickly and efficiently. The estimated time was to take about 5 hours but they were done in just over 3 hours. We are very satisfied!

The work they did was very good. They were responsive and punctual. I had a problem with the call center in Atlanta. They messed up with my credit card information.

Orkin Pest Control is a very pleasant company to deal with. The gentlemen that comes out is very nice and pleasant to deal with. We live in an area where we tend to have rat problems and they have been able to help us with that.

They were cheaper then others had quoted us. We went with a year treatment plan because it was cheaper. They showed up on time. They were very courteous.
