I am delighted to share significant praise and gratitude for the tile work of Old Town Tile, LLC, in Tacoma, Wa. The owner & his tile setters exceeded my expectations in their delicate removal and reinstallation of the decorative tiles in my master bathroom shower and bathtub. Their craftsmanship is immediately evidenced in the pristine transformation after a previous tile company installed what appeared to be flawed tiles. They also provided a level of care and attention to detail in their daily clean-up that was exceptional and far superior to the norm. I highly recommend Old Town Tile in Tacoma due to their competitive pricing, integrity, skills and level of professionalism maintained during the entire process.

Overall the work looks nice however ...
1. Calking between kitchen tile and granite counter top failed within 6 months.
2. Incorrect tiles were installed on fireplace and problem was never totally corrected.
3. After 1 year. yellow liquid leached from under front porch tiles and caused a stain that was very difficult to clean.
4. Tiles on front porch step riser fell off after ~ 2-1/2 years.
5. Old Town Tile had no explanation other than concrete substructure could have caused the stain and tile failure.
6. Old Town Tile failed to provide a bid to repair front porch tile failure.
Repair of the front porch was provided by another tile contractor. During demolition it was obvious the backer board installed by Old Town Tile had failed. It also appeared the failed backer board caused the yellow stains on the tile. Repair of the front porch cost $1,100 including new tiles, grout, and labor.

An outstanding job from start to finish. Young men who did the job were pleasant, skilled and efficient. Had no worry about leaving them alone in the house. Started and finished exactly on time and at exactly the price quoted.

The price was reasonable. They did such a beautiful job. They were very efficient and they did everything excellently. They showed up on time and did everything like they said they would do. They are licensed and bonded.
