They did a great job! Super responsive and easy to work with. This was my first time hiring a painting service and it was quite a process - I had almost given up until I found Horizon Painting Services. I read the reviews and the company’s philosophy and couldn’t believe such a gem existed in this day and age. So happy I found them! Really wish other companies would take note and follow HPS’s example.

Ed has a great team of pro painters working for him. The guys were friendly. and made the painting project enjoyable.

I used Horizon painting last year and they did such a great job I called them again when I needed work done.  I had a different Painter each time but both had the same result.  They were right on time, did a great job matching the paint\texture and explained and showed me the repair each step of the way.  There prices were very fair.

We bought the special deal of 2 painters for a day for $588.  They did wonderful work and really treated our home with respect.  They stayed a few extra minutes to be sure and complete the painting of the living room, laundry room, and entry way, which was the goal for the day.  We especially liked working with Harvey who was a meticulous painter.  He showed such attention to detail that we also contacted Horizon Painting again to ask if Harvey specifically could buy, cut, and install new baseboards throughout the house for us.  The owner, Ed (who is also great to work with), agreed and bid the job.  We had Harvey in our home for another two full days to complete this job.  We are very pleased with the results and plan to hire them again.

Horizon painted a number of rooms for us and did a great job. They were quick to come out and do an in-person estimate, and fit us into their schedule much faster than anyone else was able to.
The crew who came out was polite and did a great job. We weren't given a chance to do a final walkthrough before they left, which was odd, but the painting they did was high quality enough that we didn't have any complaints.
Overall, I'd recommend them, and we'll likely hire them again to do a few more rooms later this year.

They worked quickly and efficiently. They got the job done. They did take quite a few smoke breaks and always happened to be in the van when I came back from a walk.

.Great. Its been several months since the job was finished. We are very pleased with the job and glad that we ended up working with Horizon Painting Services. Originally,  we had Horizon bid on the whole exterior painting project, but the bid came in higher than we expected and we decided we could complete 1/2 of the job ourselves and have Horizon rebid the job doing the remaining half. That's what we did, but instead of painting our original wood deck railing, we decided to have them replaced, again Horizon was able to do the job for us and we are very pleased with how that project turned out.

Things didn't work out at first, so they came back and redid the ceiling.  (After it dried it showed some uneven spots.) They were very professional about the whole procedure.

Outstanding, I will definitely use these guys again. They were very responsive about returning my call, coming here to give me an estimate, and even though they are booked up, they made room in their schedule to get my work done before the toilet, vanity and baseboard got installed so they wouldn't have to work around that stuff. They were very professional.  They arrived on time every time. They did an especially great job on the knockdown texture, it is high quality work.  It took three separate trips to do the job - one for putty coat, one for knock-down texture, and then two sessions on the last day to apply each of the coats of paint. They had to start with  drywall that had not been properly prepared for wallpaper(bad work from 25 years ago), plus all the nicks and gouges I made removing that wallpaper, and it looks flawless now.  They also were kind enough to apply texture to a few spots in my other bathroom where I had spackled up some holes.

It went great.  I worked with Ed and he was on time for both appointments.   He explained the repairs and my options and came in under the estimate.  The work he did matched perfectly, can't event tell there was damage.

Painted Exterior of our house and shed. Workers were friendly and nice. Work seems a bit rushed at times and they oversprayed in a few places and splattered paint on the stone trim. There were also some communication problems with exactly what the scope of the work was between their office and the workers onsite.
The painters arrived to paint the trim, but were surprised to hear that the door was also to be painted.  Consequently they did not have the correct paint and had to come back another day.
They also painted part of the house the wrong color.  The repainted it to the correct color, using more paint had they done it correctly the first time. 
Ed the owner doesn't require any deposit up front, nor does he usually sign a contract.  We requested a signed by him paper, but some of the details were not captured on the contract.  The final contract was not given to the workers and that's why they didn't know about painting the door. 

Things went just fine with them. They responded very promptly and they did the work on time and we are very pleased. They are easy to contact. I thought that the price was very reasonable. It was the same as some of the other bids we got.

The whole experience was very positive from the estimate to completion of the work. The painter, Harvey, arrived promptly each day and worked diligently. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. The outcome could not have been better. We were very happy with the results, especially since the quote was the lowest of three we received. We found Horizon on Angie's List and I am happy to continue the good reviews of this company. I recommend them without reservation for inside or outside painting. Based on our experience with the inside bathroom, we had Horizon paint the exterior trim of our home and touch up the siding after pressure washing the house. (The cost above is for the interior painting only.) Again, we were extremely pleased with the outcome. They will be the first company we will call when we need additional painting of our home.

I was very satisfied with their prices and their work. I would recommend them to anyone.
