I like McCabe’s Auto. I’d give them an “A” because I keep going back to them. I think that price is relative, it depends on quality. I don’t look at price first, I take a look at the quality and the thoroughness that these guys do. Actually, the vehicle was ready earlier than we had anticipated. They’re very professional, straight forward, honest, and willing to answer questions. I had 2 different places look at it before I had gone ahead and did any work. I was very pleased with what they did.

We have a neighbor that swears by McCabe's ...while our Suburban was under warranty, we went to the dealer for repairs and maintenance and prices were astronomical. Now that we're done with that we'll be at McCabe's for all services. They talked me through the options regarding brake repair - replace the calipers or don't? - discussed and explained very thoroughly and patiently to me what they saw and why it might have happened. Rick and Ken are wonderful men. I highly recommend them.

They are really good. They are really nice, personable, personal, and independent. They even gave me a Van to use for a couple of days. I just put gas in it. They did great work.

We have been going to Mccabes for 15 years. Always reliable, truthful, and informative. They provide loaner if they know ahead of time.

My Ford Escape wasn't testable for emissions; it kept reading and quot;not ready.and quot; I had replaced the gas cap, and had the check engine light turned off. After miles of driving trying to get it to reset, I called McCabe's. They suggested I give it a few more days as some vehicles take longer. Good advice, and free.
After 200 miles and no change, I called them again and took the car in. I was offered a free loaner car, and got a call the same day with the estimate. My computer needed to be replaced. The part alone was over $500, and then a procedure had to be done only at a dealership. The actual labor costs were very reasonable, and I was kept informed throughout the experience.
I primarily worked with Ken, but everyone there was friendly and in motion all the time. No one stands around at McCabe's!

They replaced the sensor and also fixed the rattle which apparently originated from the heat shield of exhaust. They had the car ready the next day. As always, they gave detailed explanation of all work done and of course did an excellent job. Thanks again to Bill and his staff for another job well done.

A routine visit handled in less than one hour

My car needed the 60,000 mile work done and is out of warranty so I needed to find a repair shop that was professional and trustworthy. I went in and we talked over what needed to be done and Ken said he'd call me by Tues with an estimate. He actually called me earlier and I took the car in on Weds, expecting to be car less for a couple of days at least. I had made arrangements to take a loaner, but it hadn't come back in yet when I dropped my vehicle off. They gave me a ride home and they called in the afternoon to tell me the work was finished and they were coming to pick me up. People were all friendly and I felt they were very honest. Oh, and I got a 10% discount on the bill, because I'm a senior citizen.

Had vehicle towed to McCabes. They diagnosed problemed, fixed vehicle and had it ready same day. Fast, friendly service.

I arrived about five minutes late due to traffic congestion. Because of the need to fill out paperwork first, the mechanic had less time than he would have liked to perform the inspection. Still, he managed to thoroughly inspect everything I asked him to, and found half a dozen items that the dealer had marked as and quot;goodand quot; when they weren't, or mistakes such as overfilling the tires and engine oil.

This was $50 well spent. As the man was finalizing my invoice, he asked if I was a AAA member. I said no, but I'm a military vet, does that count? After a pause, he replied, and quot;That counts!and quot; and took 10% off my total.

I know where I'll be going for my next oil change, and it won't be the dealer anymore!

They really didn't have any major issue/problem to fix (since the truck ran fine after they cleaned the plugs) but I do believe they tried everything to see if they can make the truck misbehave again. I am satisfied with the effort that they gave and Ken Davis (the Service Adviser) was very personable and really easy to deal with. They have a detailed report of the work done that was presented to us when we picked up the truck. It appears that they took the time to document everything and present us with a 1 page report at the end. This served two purpose, if we ever bring back the truck, they can read the report to see what was done previously, this to me showed that they cared about every car that goes to their shop, but it also shows as proof of exactly what was done (CYA if you will) so they know exactly what worked previously and what did not. I am very impressed with the shop overall and will be taking all of our cars and trucks to them from now on even for a simple job as an oil change.

We've been dealing with them for years. They are very, very upfront and honest. They don't pad the bill. They have been really, really good. We will absolutely use them again.
