LOWE'S

Price offered was good, product offered was good, installation service very frustrating. Plumber came out and gave us the bid in a timely manner. Very professional and bid was better than one from small plumbing company. However, after setting date for installation, the initial time and date were cancelled the day before. I was told a new installer would be calling to do the installation in the following week but then got a callback to state that not only was that not going to happen but Lowe's no longer had a water tank installer and so installation was going to be delayed. This is a big company. They should be able to line up a plumber to cover for this sort of thing. Thank goodness we are replacing a functioning water tank and not sitting without hot water. (The people at the Tacoma Lowe's were all very nice and very professional and did their best to help. I think this must be a problem at corporate or management level.) I will update once the water tank is finally installed. As of today no install date has been set after initial date (5/31/19) did not work out as scheduled.

They were actually pretty careful. It was just working with them and giving them information on preferences. I would follow up and they would lose the information so I had to constantly revisit the preferences again for the materials and stuff. I think they also delayed ordering installation so this process was a little drawn out than originally envisaged. The clean up was positive. They didn’t actually do the work themselves but just coordinated it because they had some contractors. It was a very frustrating process so we actually had to have the manager step in to pick over the oversight of it. The pricing was about right.
