John was amazing! Our door 15 year old garage door has never worked better. Suggested to fix one problem and wait until we have any other issues before spending a couple of hundred dollars! So honest to deal with! Thanks to John we have a great working garage door!

John was so thorough and explained what was needed in detail. He made suggestions and actually saved our old garage door opener by repairing it as well as replace the coil on the door. It was a great experience and John did a great job for us. We would definitely have him do work for us again. He was able to repair door when we needed it done and was very responsive to our requests.

I couldn't have asked for any better. It started with the bid - John spent over an hour with me, explaining the process and options I had. He was willing to work with me so I got exactly the door I wanted. That included several phone calls and emails to explain options and costs. And in the end he was the lowest bid - at least $500 less than one of the big outfits for the exact same door (an Amarr). It did take a month or so for the door to come in because it was a custom order, but we set up an installation date and time when I placed the order. One month later, right on time, he installed my door. Took him a bit over 3 hours, which I though was pretty quick. And the door is beautiful! John is a professional who does the job right and above all wants a happy customer. I highly recommend him and will be using him again for any other garage door work.

John is the bee's knees! He took the time to find out exactly what we needed, look at the site and explain what he recommended and why. His price was competitive and the work he did was excellent. He was easy to work with and completed the job quickly. If you need a garage door, look no further.

Was extremely happy with work done. They were able to work us into their schedule the same day we spoke with them. Work was completed quickly. Would most definitely recommend to anyone with a garage door problem and would certainly hire them again if have a problem with the other door.

John is very calm and professional. I had a prior experience with a different garage door company that was HORRIBLE!!! I had a lot of stuff in my garage before when our opener quit working. I called the other company several years ago and he was rude, angry and reckless. He slammed things around and stopped short at screaming at me. We now found out he put in the wrong spring! The opener broke again shortly after and we manually opened the door for years until the rollers at the ends got jammed up. Then I waited another year because I was wrecked after the prior experience.
I was timid when John first came because of that experience. John simply asked me to move a small area where he could access the door and even worked in the evening to accomodate OUR work schedule! 
He recommended a nicer upgraded garage door opener but I truly believe it was with our happiness in mind! It is smaller and nearly silent and carries a long warranty. We are thrilled with all of it and the silence of the new opener!

I feel like it is a blessing to work with this man who is the owner of this company. He CARES and is so conscience of his work and service. It was a totally opposite experience from my first one. John was fantastic!  I called for an estimate and John came to my home the next day to look at my project.  My garage door concerns were a little unique in that my garage is just barely tall enough for my lifted Jeep to fit inside of.  It was a high priority for me to maintain as much ceiling clearance as possible so my Jeep could fit.  John was able to quickly assess what products would fit my needs and put together a professional proposal for me to review with me before he left.  I was very satisfied with his price, and his quick, decisive selection of what products to use made me feel like Independent door was the right company for my project.  The install team showed up the following day exactly when they said they would and their experience/skill made short work of my garage door installation.  When they were finished they showed me their work, reviewed how to operate the opener and asked if I had any questions.  I was extremely satisfied and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality garage door, expert installation, and reasonable price!

in the past, I have had terrible experiences getting our garage doors repaired. fOr example, we once spent $300.00 for service because I needed my car for work. Nevertheless, in spite of my past experiences, this service provider was on point in all of the areas important to me:
1. Cost; 2. Punctuality; and 3.. Professionalism. Not only was John on time, when he arrived he quickly assessed what needed to be done to both doors. The cost was quite close to what I thought it should be, and upon completion of the door repair/servicing the doors were almost "silent"when opened and closed. If needed in the future, I have no problems with utilizing his Company again. In short, all I can say is boo yah!!!! John was pleasant, efficient, and pleasure to work with. I highly recommend his company.

The owner John was very responsive to my initial contact. He
answered all my questions and concerns regarding different types of garage door
openers over the phone. I decided on the Lift Master Belt drive opener as it is
quieter then a chain or screw drive model. John had an available appointment
that same day showed up on time and had the job completed in 2 hours. He also
replaced all the rollers, installed an outside keypad and gave the door a general Tune-up.
The new opener is much quieter now and can hardly be heard from the above garage
bedrooms. John is very personable and professional. He made sure all
adjustments and fine details were addressed. I will definitely be calling John
at Independent  Garage Doors, LLC when I need new springs or general service.
