I will tell them to definitely use them. They were very professional. They were there when they said they were going to be there. They gave a clear cut explanation of what the cost would be and why and the floors are beautiful. They came out looking perfect.

I was very impressed. They were on time and they were courteous. They explain everything that they were going to do. They cleaned up after themselves really well and the end result is absolutely beautiful.

Chris and Ben arrived at our house promptly at 8:30 on the Tuesday scheduled. They viewed the floors, asked pertinent questions about electrical availability and appliances, reviewed the type of finish we wanted (semi-gloss) and made sure we were well-informed about everything they would be doing while they were working at our home. They were friendly, professional, and obviously knew exactly what they were going to do. When we arrived home, we were absolutely amazed - the quality of the work done exceeded anything we could have imagined. We had no idea our floors could look so gorgeous - every board now shows its own grain and color variation, with the perfect amount of gloss. Everyone who visits comments about the floor as soon as they enter our home, and asked what company did the work. We cannot say enough great things about Henderson Hardwood Flooring!

Glen Henderson and his team came referred from another customer.  I found the customer service, quality of service, and flexibility to be excellent.  I asked them to take out carpet out of two bedrooms and install pre-fab hardwood to match the rest of the main floor.  I asked if they could also take out some old build in drawers in the closet then run the hardwood in there, and they did that as well.  Months later, in JAN 2013, I had a buckling problem in a different part of my house (floor installled by previous house owner, not Henderson Hardwoods).  Glen Henderson came over to take a look (without cost at the estimate) and diagnosed the problem as water getting in through a non-storm door.  He gave me advice to first address the door, let the floor dry out for a couple months, then reassess and call him back if the floor section still needed to be replaced.  I've found Henderson Hardwoods and Glen Henderson to additionally be responsive, personable and honest in how they conduct business.  Would highly recommend.

Henderson Hardwood was brought in by a general contractor to install and finish new hardwood flooring in our home. We met both Jesse and Shane by accident, who were both professional and pleasant.
Shane really seems to enjoy what he does and really wanted to make sure we got what we wanted; not what the contractor wanted. We appreciated him taking time for us, showing us a couple of different finish options, which I'm sure is standard. When asked his opinion, he was honest with us.
There are a couple of areas in our new floors that stand out to me. A rough patch filled in with wood putty and some brush bristles caught in the floor's final coat, leaving marks and uneven surfaces when they were removed. I wish I had the opportunity for a final walkthrough or at least a follow up call from the company - strictly from a customer service standpoint, to see about customer satisfaction.
 
Besides the oral recommendations early on to avoid laying rugs down for two weeks, I have no information on the flooring. I don't know what type of oak or grade of wood was used, what color the finish is, etc. I don't know if the floors have a warranty or guarantee. I had to search online how to care for the floors (I am the type who likes to know everything). None of this information was provided to me; I'm assuming because a general contractor sub-contracted them. However, I think this type of information is important to a homeowner and should be provided every time regardless.
If I had it to do over, I would have preferred to hire them myself rather than work through a general contractor and I would make this suggestion to others.

The estimator was prompt and professional, and took precise measurements.
The workers were much to be commended.  They obviously take real pride in their work and did a wonderful job, transforming the tired old floors, and thereby, the entire house.
They were also very courteous and accommodating, both in terms of the work schedule and also when I decided at the very last minute, to switch from the Swedish finish, which this company highly favors, to a water-based finish.
The cost seemed a bit high, especially with the change to the more expensive water-based product.  However, I cannot quibble with the quality of their work, which is top-notch.  Overall, I am very pleased.  It is a fine company, well run, and with very capable workers.

They were great. Their guys came in and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were punctual and very professional. We were looking to put in hardwood floors in a carpeted area. One person that I talked to suggested that only this company could do the type of job I was looking for. There were unique stairs involved. I knew they were the right company for our work because a competitor recommended them. They came out to the house and gave us a price. They started on a Monday and finished by Saturday.I would definitely recommend and would definitely use them again.

I wouldn't recommend them. They didn't do a good job. I had to call them back and have them out twice to try to fix the work and some things were just never resolved. The quality of the floor isn't good. They told me to paint first, and because of the moisture and condensation, there was too much moisture our flooring is now cupping. They also got varnish on our new paint.
