Great value compared to some other offers we had. The guy who came to do the estimate was the owner, estimator, and installer. Several other companies tried to get our business but sent out slimy sales guys who tried to talk us into 40k worth of upgrades. No thanks. Express Windows just did what I asked, and didn?t try to make a bunch of offers regarding structural changes to my house to "update the look". I'm not made of money, I just needed windows. These guys did a great job.
The only reason I marked a B for quality is you need to understand the difference between trimming nail plates on new windows and what it can mean to water intrusion later down the road. I have a unique situation where my windows are under 3 feet of roof overhang so I'm not worried about it. I allowed them to trim the nail plates which makes the installation much easier. If the nail plates are not trimmed, the siding needs to come off to properly flash the window, which can basically double the price of the job. My windows are basidcaly sealed with a heavy duty caulk which according to Express Windows is a 30 year product. That remains to be seen and as a homeowner I will be inspecting at least yearly to verify it's holding up. This is a buyer beware situation. I'm not scared of it, but if you know nothing about home maintenance or window installation, I recommend you get a bigger loan and pay to have it done the idiot proof method. If you research the manufactures recommended install process, the nail plates should be retained. Basic rule of thumb, if you have water hitting any windows in a storm, the nail plates should be retained and the flashing needs to be robust. This is Washington after all. It rains here.

They were wonderful I was in Arizona while jobs were being done. They took care of all the paper with City Light. They were responsive in e mails and on the phone. > They cared about my tenants and were helpful in every way. I would reccomend them the anyone.

LAST YEAR I HAD A LOT OF MOLD IN GAPS, AND NOW I HAVE NONE. I CALLED THEM, AND THEY CAME OVER THE NEXT DAY. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE, AND THE WORKERS WERE GOOD. THEY DIDN'T ASK FOR TIPS, BUT I TIPPED THEM ANYWAY.
