"Thank you for the candor in your feedback. We regret that your move experience was not satisfactory to you. However, there are some circumstances we feel need to be cleared up. First, we have no real way to compare our moves with the moves with another company. Our best bet is to review the move as discussed with your agent and the original contract signed with us. Via the recorded calls we pulled and the estimate signed afterwards, we see that you agreed to a move time of 6 hours. All estimates are non-binding and can vary up to 125%, detailed within. This meant your move could take up to 7.5 hours based on conditions. Your booking was made the day prior, and we scheduled you for Saturday. As such, we didn't get an inventory to confirm the size of your move, relying on the average for a 1 bedroom home. Once the move ran late, we reached out and recommended keeping your things overnight before delivering the next day. Your husband agreed, and we arranged for a 3rd crew member at no additional charge the following day. However, our dispatch failed to address the concerns your husband brought up about the length of the move. This, and the crew's failure to bring tools on day 2 was unacceptable, and we deeply apologize. Management was aware of your review on Sunday morning. As they work business hours, our Customer service team examined your move that Monday, and responded the same day. We confirmed that the move time was excessive, and also that tools had been forgotten on the 2nd day of your move. We then offered to bring your move down to 7.5 hours, the limit of your moving contract, providing a reimbursement of around $670, or over 35% of your move to you. You have our deepest apologies for the trouble that occurred on your move job. We are absolutely taking your feedback to heart. We will go ahead and process the reimbursement initially offered to you. While we do regret this resolution may still not be enough for you in the moment, we hope that time and perspective will change opinions."
