Where do I start? Let me just say this was the most positive experience I've had regarding a car repair - from the moment Kevin and his professional staff (Robert and Megan) - took possession of my Jaguar, provided white glove service.
Kevin arranged to flat bed my car to his shop - arranged for ordering and delivery of genuine Jaguar parts - coordinated mechanical repairs with Jaguar dealer and worked with my insurance adjuster. all the while Kevin kept me updated with progress and communications with various parties.
when my car was completed - the repairs were unnoticeable - paint was factory - even the alloy wheel which was scraped had been repaired where I could not see where it was damaged.
For those who are looking for an awesome -full service collision repair shop - you cannot go wrong with Center Collision in Tacoma. Its worth the drive.
Asked for an estimate before they got started and was told: and quot;I like to estimate high so I don't have to call someone and ask if they're sitting down with a higher price.and quot; He then said about $5,000.
A couple days later I was called by someone else and was asked: and quot; Are you sitting down?and quot; He then said the price was $6,000, and I don't see it getting much higher or lower than that. I gave him permission to take the truck apart further so he could see what parts had to be ordered.
Had heard anything by the following week so I called in and was told the price was about $6,500. I paid as I didn't have any other options with the vehicle being disabled.
Also, when I brought the truck in I was told that realistically it would take two weeks. It ended up taking about a month. They did a have to wait a few days to get used parts sent in, which I requested, but that was accounted for in the original time estimate.
I was given a loaner vehicle.
I am rating them a C overall. An F for the above statements about the price and the subsequent two increases, and for taking two weeks longer than told. An A for the quality of the work.
