My price does not factor in if you live 25 miles out in the country, have a nice car in your driveway or if you are a real estate investor etc.. The second day when he had not arrived, I called and left a message 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Waited 10 minutes for a reply before looking for another worker. Brandon never called back.
I think my job was bigger and harder than Brandon was prepared to do. He did put in a good effort the first day, but the no-show and no call was unacceptable. Before you hire Brandon, look at the L&I website. He has 3 violations - currently all unsatisfied. He is not currently licensed with L&I.

We planted over 500 plants for you on a 10ft x 50ft slanted hill, again you were by our side the entire time directing our every move. 3/4 of the way through you asked me to cut the roots on 2 plants that were in bigger pots but never mentioned any more at any time. At the end of my day it was snowing when I came to your door for payment. We had a quick conversation about scheduling another day depending on weather and only mentioned the possibility of the day you say I no called no showed, I said with a smile just keep in touch I am very busy but would love to come back. The reason Im sure you did not use your real name or address is because this is all not true. 1 in 500 customers having small problems with the way I do business is ok with me. Unfortunately angies list will not let you change your review. I am licensed appropriately with L&I and looked up on there website and I have no violations. I hate to do this to you but as you mentioned you are trying to get a grant for $500 for a community garden from the city of Tacoma, I will have to call them and reveal your plan to grow marijuana illegally around the back right side of your home were you had me move and stack 3 pallets of cinder blocks...I love my customers and 99%+ love me SMH :)"
The second time I scheduled a service , an hour after the scheduled time the owner facebook messaged me to say they couldn't make it and they were all going camping Friday so he'd have to reschedule for Monday.
The owner communicated with me later and said that he really had no control over being unable to make it on Thursday as his scheduled jobs that day ran longer than expected. He said that as a small, family-owned business that has recently launched they are still working some kinks out in scheduling. To be fair, I can understand this, so I've amended my overall review (since I can't remove it).
They did good work for a fair price with a great attitude - that was much appreciated.
It would have been nice to be notified if Brandon was not able to perform the lawn service as agreed, whatever the reason. I have since notified Brandon his services are no longer required.
