 + -1 moreWe lost and now bassett is the bigger loser.
Description of Work: Bought a sectional - 2.5 years ago. within six months the seems were separating and the material was balling up. We are a middle aged couple and not h****** furniture. Bassett sent two reps out at separate times. they offered to replace to cushions only and would not let us see the reports. After we pressed they agreed to replace the sectional. Knowing the original material was not a good choice, we upgraded with an additional 1000.00 material upgrade. Within about another six month time, again the seems were separating and the material on this upgrade was also balling up. it took about six months to have the couch (both) looking closer to ten years old. we again contacted bassett and they informed us the warranty was for one year from the original purchase. in our opinion a couch for 3500.00 should last for much longer then 6 month to one year. We have a different couch purchased at the Macy's and it still looks brand new as a comparison. Bassett does not care about it's customers and if they will return. their actions made this clear. I have bought many things from Bassett in Fife and also Seldons. They have lost our business forever at both stores. Low quality, bad customer service, horrible warranties. and very very dishonest sales and management we have dealt with them all. I inform all to avoid this store.

 + 0 more): I was told to expect my rug and furniture selections in 6 to 8 weeks. My furniture arrived 7 weeks later on March 19, 2011 - I had to track down the designer to find out that I should not expect my rug for another 4 months!! It is now 4 months later and Todd Copitzky, the manager of the Tukwila Bassett Furniture store, STILL cannot give me an exact date of WHEN my rug will be delivered. My patience has run out. Since the couch and 2 chairs I purchased were based on the rug colors, and, since I have YET to get my rug....I will be visiting the store to demand they take their couch and chairs back - as well as the "PHANTOM" rug - and refund my money.
Description of Work: ): 2 Bassett Designers came to my house for an in-home consultation on January 13, 2011 prior to my making my family room furniture selections. The designers HIGHLY suggested I choose the rug first in order to make furniture and fabric selections based on the color and design of the rug. I followed their advice and on January 29, 2011 I visited the Tukwila Bassett store and selected my rug and then selected the fabric of the couch and 2 chairs based on the rug colors.
