We hired Roman to renovate our bathroom din March of 2018 . The cost was in excess of 10 thousand dollars and all seemed to be done well and fine ..that was then .. Here we are in 2024 and we come to find out the incorrect wax seal was used and the toilet has leaked under the tile floor causing mass damage to the flooring and joists and we are now facing another reno and repair in the master bath thats going to cost us thousands of dollars ...the caulking in the shower also failed also causing costly damage ...

Roman and his son did a wonderful job remodeling my bathroom. I will definitely use him again for future projects!

I highly recommend Roman and 1st Choice Home Improvement. We met him in the middle of a nightmare situation with a general contractor who did everything wrong (caused 2 plumbing leaks, poured shower pan with no membrane underneath, wrong thickness for shower walls etc etc) Once Roman and his son came in everything turned around for us and started going in the right direction. They came in and removed all the incorrect work quickly and efficiently. They worked diligently and for long hours to get our bathroom remodeling projects done correctly and beautifully. Roman is an artist with tile. And they were an absolute pleasure to have working on our home. You can tell a lot about a person by meeting their children, and Romans son is a quality human being. Hard-working, respectful, diligent, just awesome. I'm so thankful to both of them for our beautiful bathrooms!

A year ago they were hire to change the tile bottom floor in the shower, the job was done and cost was approx 1300$, however a year later i started noticing cracks between tiles then i reach out back to them to have them come fix it so i spoke with contractor and he said that insulation was NOT done properly, the contractor admit that he did not provide me with this information while installing the tile. according to the contractor he shared the information with my roommate who was at the scene the time of installation, and according to roommate he didn't share any information. and now they didn't want to come back out they wanted to charge me again,it was 25to 3500 more! so i decide to go with a different contractor. when we rip the tile out we discover they install the tile on the woods and i was very disappointed, lack of communication and job poorly been done and not willing to compromised the outcome.

As far tile work, it was great. However, other promises have not been kept. Other projects and follow work have still not been completed. There for I've updated my review to reflect 3 stars.

I hired Roman to remove old flooring and install new vinyl in my front room and dinning room. My rooms are very large and Roman did this job in 2 days. A very hard worker and he knows his business. Had to move 2 rooms of furniture and he put everything back.Did a beautiful job and i would hire him again in a heartbeat.

This was such a wonderful experience from start to finish that I hardly know where to begin. My spouse and I are both disabled and our home is in disarray and in need of many repairs. Most concerning was a large tear in the vinyl floor of our master bathroom. I had fallen several times because my feet had been caught up. Roman came and checked it out and gave me a very reasonable estimate. When he began the work, he discovered a bad leak under the bathroom sink had cause a mold issue which had in turn rotted the wood down to the crawlspace beneath house. The project that we thought was going to be a one day deal suddenly ballooned into a much bigger issue. Roman was upfront about our options and all the work that we were now looking at. I never once felt like the issues were being exaggerated as has happened with other contractors I've dealt with in the past. When we agreed upon a game plan, he gave us a new estimate and got right to work. It ended up taking 3 days, but Roman was able to not only fix my floor, he handled the plumbing problem as well and installed a new vanity to replace the one that was full of black mold. When he was done, I was left with the most beautiful bathroom I've ever seen. It's now my favorite room in the house! But beyond his skilled workmanship, I want to add how touched I was by Roman's genuine kindness. I have multiple sclerosis and have great difficulty with mobility and even standing for more than a minute or two. My spouse is on the autism spectrum and we both struggle with anxiety. Between the two of us and our various difficulties, housework tends to fall between the cracks. I always have enormous fear when anyone comes to my home because of the state it is in. I am horrendously embarrassed and humiliated that I am not able to keep it up to the standard that I would like to. Because of that, I tend to apologize profusely. Roman was so kind and understanding and truly seemed concerned about our wellbeing in a way that some people I've known for years have not expressed. It is so rare to come across such a good person and it deserves recognition. Finally, I have not felt safe in my bathroom for over six months. Last night, after Roman left, I was able to go into that room and no longer be afraid of a fall or an accident that I might not recover easily from. I would absolutely call him again without any hesitation.

Roman took out our shower floor tile and replaced it in the same day. He was prompt with his initial appraisal, did the job with when he said he would and with great skill and care.

Roman replaced all the shower grout and caulking in our master bathroom. He also replaced 2 broken floor tiles. The tiles were at an edge with a hardwood floor and he was able to replace them without touching the hardwood floor. He arrived on time, started working and didn't stop until finished. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Roman came promptly to look at the project, gave me an estimate and came to do the project when he said he would. He finished the same day and I would call him again in a heartbeat.

He replaced some cracked tiles on my warm tile floor. He took extreme care in removing the old tile so he wouldn't break the wires underneath. The replacement was done with great expertise and the grout matched perfectly. I would highly recommend him.
