He put in a window in the bedroom which I found out which was not to code and wasn't what we asked for in the contract. I had to argue with him to put in a to code window and luckily it was in the contract of what type of window.
He covered the fascia board, eave, and siding with vinyl. It was letting it water. I had another company come out to let me know what he did wrong. He had to remove pieces of my roof to fix his issue, which is now leaking.
He installed two doors, he did not prime them because "I did not pay him" to do this. The owner of the door company had to get involved for Carl to come out to prime the doors.
The job site was left so messy that essentially caused one of my cats to get hurt. This is one of the things that I specified that it is really important to have a clean site.
After it started taking a few months, he seemed to get angry with me and said he wasn't getting paid enough to do this work.
He also took off all of the warrantee information off of the windows. I paid for premium windows but I ended up getting a little better than average windows.
I withheld $1500 from him so that he would finally come out to finish any work he had done poorly.
One instance he left my house to go to another person place for what I am assuming was more bad work.
He would not return my house key, I left my home for a moment, came back, and then found him in my home using the bathroom. He still would not give me back the key so I had to get my house re-keyed.
