Broken Branch Tree Service

We asked for and received bids from a total of three tree services. Broken Branch, owned by Tom Mathews was the least expensive of the three. Tom and his crew of three arrived early on a cold, foggy morning and went to work immediately. The tree was a 95 foot fir with a twin top. It was on the edge of our property, so it made me slightly nervous, because the house next door and the home in back of us are very close, and of course the tree was between them. The tree was actually causing a mess on the roof of the neighbors house. Tom is a former logger, I dont know how many years of experience he has, but he is extremely professional and safety conscious. He spent most of the time preparing the tree to come down, by cutting the huge limbs and the double top down. I didn't fully realize what a job it was, until I started watching all that was involved. Nor did I realize just how large the tree was. Because of the double tree top, it was almost like two trees. He first had to remove the extra tree top, which was a job in itself. The last thing he did was actually take the original trunk down. It is alot of work and he handled it perfectly. The tree fell exactly where he told us it would and he and his crew cut the trunk up to haul all of it away. It took the better part of the day, but we are building on this location and needed it gone right away. Would definitely recommend and hire him again, and have already referred family members to him.
