Rubumco Painting

We hired Russell's company to finish up some bad exterior painting done by our contractor. They were great to work with throughout the process, from initial contact and quote, to prep, painting and followup. There was a small mis-communication (our fault) near the beginning and they were gracious in clearing things up. We'll definitely hire them the next time we need some painting done.

The worker was always courteous and considerate of any impact to our business. Made sure to ask questions about anything that might be in doubt. Started the work right away and didn't stop until the job was complete. Would definitely recommend using these guys.

Great experience! They answered the phone when I called and were quick to get me an estimate. They were able to schedule the work super fast and were very responsive with communicating throughout the job. All of the workers (prep, gutters and painters) were fast, professional and very polite. We are super happy with the results.

Had the entire house painted, two stories. They did not rush, from start to finish it took five days as planned. The preparation, wash, sealing, primer and painting was done with quality. Very nice job!

We hired Rubumco to paint the exterior of our house and to do some minor dry rot repairs. They estimated 3-4 days to complete, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the work in 3 days. Russ is amazing!!!! Him and his crew busted out a complete interior paint job on my house in less than a week so I could get it on the market. My timeline was short and he got it done for me!! This was the second time I've hired Russ to paint the exterior of my home. He employs teams of excellent painters and carpenters who are friendly and easy to work with. The head of each team uses videos detailing exactly what work needs to be done, leaving nothing to chance. They work quickly and efficiently and always clean up their work space before leaving each day. I am very happy with the result. I highly recommend Rubumco Painting. They were professional, polite and very hard workers. Their work was extremely detailed and they did not take any shorts cuts. They also took care of any wood work and dry-rot. We are very happy with the results.

Wow? We hired Rubumco to paint our master bedroom (3 different colors) and master bath (2 colors). Amazing craftsmanship! They had to achieve clean straight lines between the different colors! And it looks seamless! When you think YOU can do this type of job? Stop and think time is money and your frustration not getting those edges straight. Not worth it. Russ's crew did a fantastic job of painting the interior of our house. They were extremely courteous, helpful and were very careful with our furniture and floors. We will definitely be hiring them to paint the exterior when it warms up!

Needed to sand and stain a mid-century style wood ceiling on a short timeline due to other work scheduled immediately after the project. Rubumco did an excellent job of prepping all the rooms, carefully protecting the existing painting walls, before they carefully sanded with dust collection equipment to keep everything clean. They did a great job of touching up ceiling beams and making crisp paint lines to make the ceiling really pop. Will definitely use Rubumco in the future for other paint work.

I would give 5 stars in all areas. Professionalism, courteous, friendliness, and cleaned u p and hauled away all trash. I will also be using them to paint my house in the Spring. I used g his company several years ago for painting jobs. They seem to have expanded, and done so with quality workers.

The purpose of this review is to simply thank Rubumco for their excellent service and quality work . We chose Rubumco based on a few different factors: Reputation, reviews by previous customers on Facebook and neighbors who had positive experiences, but the biggest deciding factor was the initial interaction with Russ, the owner. Russ answered his phone the very first time I called and was very personable and eager to answer any questions I had. I am pleased to say this great customer service continued throughout the time our house was being painted; if I called, he answered and was always pleasant. His onsite workers were respectful of our home and really worked on keeping it tidy and livable while still efficiently completing their work. Every evening before they left, if we were home, they would check with us and make sure we were happy with everything they had completed to that point. We will definitely be keeping in touch with Russ and Rubumco for future projects.

Great customer service! Friendly , reliable, responsive, always answered the phone for questions. Checked in to make sure things were going smoothly. Started and finished the job on time . The painters were respectful of our home and completed the job exactly as requested. Highly recommended.

Rubumco Painting has helped me on two occasions. First on the exterior of a house I was selling, touching up some areas that had needed repair. They showed up early and got the job done quickly with a high level of quality. The second was the house we just bought. We asked them on short notice to paint the entire interior within a couple of days before the movers arrived. They worked anround our carpet cleaner and got the job done a day earlier than expected. Making our move in much more seamless. I highly recommend them.

Very professional and capable crew. Showed up when they said they would and diligently prepped, stained and cleaned up after.

We had new Hardie siding installed, but needed trim, soffits, corbels, fascia boards, and other small details painted to match. Russ was quick to return my call and had his crew out to do the work within 2 weeks during their busy season. Quality of work is great and the house looks so sharp and finished. We did not expect to have it completed so fast! Cost was fair and Russ was easy to communicate with. We are very happy with the results and definitely recommend Rubumco.

Highly skilled painters and very thorough. I appreciate the communication from Russ as well as Eric, lead painter. Rotten siding replaced is seamless. Extra care was used in varnishing the cedar soffits. The house looks beautiful and the neighbors love it! TLDR: Great quality and reasonable price.

Russ and his team are A+. They deliver what they promise and are respectful of your home and each day they cleaned up and never left a mess. Did I mention they also did a fantastic job painting our homeâ s exterior. So good in fact that we are having them do the interior as well.

Russ is the subject matter expert for painting; however, he still respects and listens to my requests such as I saw my older house soffit was painted, and I wondered whether I should also get my current newer house soffit painted instead of varnishing to save cost. Russ suggested varnishing would make the wood texture visible and look nice, the existing mildew would disappear after washing with vinegar, if not, we could choose to paint still. And at the end it indeed turned our well. Russ was very prompt in giving us bid. I thought the bid was higher than expected, so I told him I would get another bid, at the end the other bid has similar price, and Russ has more reviews and the rating is high, so I chose Russ. Russ scheduled the work very quickly and got the work done in a week! The most important highlight is about his crew. His crew consists of 5 people, they are all hardworking, friendly, respectful people, they came to work early every day, worked long days, and fully cleaned up at the end of each day. They paid attention to all the details, calking, fixing, cleaning, taping, covering, etc. They went around the house with ladders multiple times. At the end the paint job turned really well, with my critical eyes I cannot find a single defect. (Except some mildew in the back side porch soffit could not go away, I was warned of it, which is not their fault). My house looks so much better after the painting, it almost looks like new again. I was about to hire someone else to do interior painting since Russ is too busy to paint interior during dry summer, after I saw how they did my exterior job, I think it worth the waiting for Russ and his crew to come back to do my interior painting in the raining winter as well.

I have nothing but good things to say about Rubumco Painting. We found them to be prompt, responsive, friendly, careful and thorough. We have a lot of wood fencing on landscaped acreage. Although we had trimmed back plants from touching the fence, these guys were so careful about plantings, draping them in coverings for protection. Part of the fence and garden area have panels of galvanized hog wire with wood trim, and I watched as they painstakingly masked off the hog wire everywhere so it didnâ t get painted. Amazing! The guys also stained a massive cedar arbor on the front of the house. Thank goodness they questioned the color I had chosen, and showed me the actual paint stain color. In reality, the color I picked was a garish orange! The guys were so patient with me and really helped to find the color I was going for. This is not our first time using Rubumco, as they also painted our homeâ s exterior, as well as the interior, several years ago. And Iâ m sure we will use them again on any future jobs. You get what you pay for: they are not the cheapest, but they are reasonable. You are paying for a quality job, customer service, and the knowledge Rubumco brings to the table! They just do it right!
