This was the second time we have used David and John and they are great. We previously used David and John to remodel the basement of our 60's home and we loved working with them. Unfortunately, we had already contracted with another remodeler to do the upstairs of our home at a later date. When the other contractor turned out to be a complete disaster, we contacted them to see if they would be able to help us out. They've been wonderful!
Any good project has four key elements - budget, schedule, quality and personal relationships.
Budget - As our previous contractor seriously depleted our budget, they've helped us to save money by identifying tasks that we could do ourselves and have provided sound advice as to ways that we can stretch our remodel budget. They have been scrupulous in only charging us for work done and effectively managing their time to give us the "best bang for our buck".
Schedule - They have never over promised their ability to deliver. They "squeezed" us in to their busy schedule and helped us to get our home to first a livable, and ultimately a likable, condition as soon as they could. As their time opened up, they were quick to move us forward in their priorities. We always have felt that they have been committed to getting us to "go" as soon as was possible.
Quality - Although they met the first two criteria with flying colors, this is where they really shine. Their work is excellent. I can't think of any criticism that I could make. In addition, if they don't have the expertise they need to complete some tasks, they help you find someone that can.
Personal Relationships -They're greatl to work with. They are courteous, hard-working, honest, sharing and just a lot of fun. I can't thank them enough for their helping us work through a very difficult situation and moving our home remodel from a disaster to a success.
