About us

Here's what we mean when we say a Box of Good: 1) Good Quality: We hand-select a bounty of the freshest seasonal and local produce. 2) Good Health: Our organic fruits and vegetables provide nutrients that fight diseases and keep harmful chemicals out of your family's diet. 3) Good service: We pride ourselves in exceeding customer expectations; from the moment an order is placed to its arrival on your doorstep. 4) Good for the community: We support a network of local farmers to create a direct connection from the farm to your table. Every time you order a Box of Good Food, you're improving your own health and wellness, supporting local farmers and making a difference - a good difference! OUR HISTORY. In 1998, we bought our first farm—a one-acre spread in Machais, just east of Lake Stevens. Our storefront was doing well and our fledgling home delivery business had a grand total of 50 customers. But I realized I couldn't be a dad, a husband, and a farmer while trying to run the delivery business and manage the store. We needed to focus exclusively on farming and produce delivery. Soon, we needed to expand, and in 2003 we made the move to our current farmstead in Stanwood: 37 acres, a large packing facility, and a bigger home for our eight children. Our produce delivery business expanded to more than 1,000 accounts, and I fulfilled a goal I'd always had to use Belgian draft horses for plowing and planting. As our business has grown, the Klesick's team welcomed some excellent new people, whose skills allow us to provide superior service, top-notch quality, and competitive pricing for the organic fruits and veggies, artisan coffees, and locally grown foods we are proud to sell.

Everything is organic and they try to keep it local. They have a credit card on record and they bill me based on the standard “small box” that I selected. I can personalize what I would like and what I would not like to be sent. It is a great way to increase fruits and veggies to my diet; it is nice that I can try new things too. I can add things up to 2 days before the delivery as well. They do offer free range eggs; even local coffee too.

We order a small box and the Northwest box, it's a whole lot of produce.  It's all organic, which I love.  Some of it they grow on their farm and some comes from as far as Mexico.  The Northwest box is all from Washington, Idaho and Oregon.  I like supporting local farmers, the quality is great.  We've used them consistently for over 3 years.  I feel like I'm dealing with a family, not a corporation.  They know everyone in our family and what's going on.  When we've had hospitalizations they call to check on how we are doing.  The professionalism is great, I love that it's a local business -they are fantastic.  It's really, really high quality and they have a wide variety.
