Highlander Landscape & Maintenance

I was truly pleased with his professionalism and ethics.  The wood was far thicker than any fence material I've ever had installed. It will probably last longer then the house. The yard looks better today then the day we moved in. He even added dirt to our lower section using the good soil removed where sod was placed. We have a yard to be proud of, he's a man of his word.

I loved the concept, I loved the plans and design.
Overtime, I have noticed that the quality of the lawn laid was poor and they did not use enough dirt, as the new section is 1 inch below the old section.
would use again, but would insist on the list of materials in estimate.

I could tell early on that Joe Schreibret - owner of Highlander really knows what he is doing. He talked to me a length about his ideas and I told him my budget. I just let him GO. Excellent idea of mine - if I do say so. I do not know anybody who works harder than Joe and his crew. We LOVE our yard.

We had a couple of small issues with a fence and also a couple of shrubs that the deer were munching. Joe came out immediately and handled both.

We are continuing to use Joe's services and plan on doing some more large items (water feature) in the future. Joe has a complete book of all his work. He is such a nice person and he is great to work with!

I hired Joe Schibret with Highlander to build a covered deck. The deck is made of low grade wood and the planks were not spaced properly. There was supposedly a delay in the roofing material which led to a 2 week delay mid-construction. The roof has a terrible leak all across the middle due to shabby construction and not enough pitch. The roof had screws that splintered out of the wood and some screws that were in-between the frame not connected to anything . I gave them 3 opportunities to come back and try and get it right. In the end he quit returning my calls and I had to hire someone else to come and fix it. Of coarse at that point he had already been paid in full.

Joe is not finished yet. I love going up to the house and seeing what he has created. My neighbours are totally impressed with Joe and what he has created. In fact, some of them are going to hire him. The neighbours that saw it today are considering removing all their grass and implementing what Joe has done for us. Joe is so wonderful to work with and listens to what you have to say. That is so evident in what he has done here.
