It has been going great. We still have a few projects ahead of us (are houses ever actually finished?!) Joe is a pleasure to work with and although he does most of his own work, the subs he recommended for cabinetry and tile work have also been very high quality.

I have used 3-D Construction several times and have always been very pleased with the work. The most recent project was to replace a rotting 40 ft railing on a balcony. Joe came up with a much better design for the railing that will prevent the standing water problem which damaged the original railing. He replaced the plywood decking on the balcony, applied GacoDeck, elastomeric textured surface coating, and built a new sturdy railing with cedar siding on the exterior.
I also asked him to remove an unattractive piece of trim along the front of the house. This 'simple' project uncovered more rot damage on a chimney enclosure which required removing all of the cedar siding, replacing rotted framework, re-sheeting and re-papering the enclosure, and replacing the siding. Joe and his team did a beautiful job on this as well. They also cleaned up completely when they were finished. Highly recommended.

The contractor - Joe Dennis showed up on time to give an estimate for the work that needed to be done. We received three estimates and Joe was somewhere in the middle. We decided to go with Joe because he was very impressionable and I liked that all his paperwork was in-order and accurate. Joe made adjustment as needed and communicated with me through every step of the way. Joe was very professional and courteous. It took approximately two days to complete the work after waiting to receive materials. All work performed was completed on time and done correctly. I highly recommend joe to be hired - If, you are seeking a dependable, conscientious, responsible, hardworking contractor than Joe is your man.

over the years joe dennis has done many jobs at my home.....he refinished a basement ...installed a back deck ..new railings ect...he was always polite and i had met his wife when she came over occasionally.....i always felt safe because joe was a great family guy...and i trusted him....and still do....which is not the issue here..
the last situation he came over for was resolved easily ..it was my mistake...as i apologized that i was sorry to waste his time and was willing to pay him he said there was no charge........then proceeded to tell me i was an idiot.... i said i was going to mention that to his wife next time i saw her ....he then said "Oh well she thinks you are an idiot also"....thanks joe....at least i am not an a****** like you...oh BTW the back deck you did is sagging badly...the railing you did is still so loose i will not lean on it...and i always paid you more than you deserved.....
i appreciated the call to apologize joe.......i was very hurt....i know you and katie think i am an idiot...because you said so.....that is not a compliment in my circle.....but you are not a bad guy...i always liked you and katie...i felt safe having you at my home but will not anymore....you do a very good job.....that is not the thing...so remember ..."you are the master of your unspoken words....once they are out of your mouth you are enslaved forever" i wish you well

"I have completed many jobs for Ms. [member name removed] over the years. The railing in question was done in September of 2004, over 10 years ago, to replace rotted log railing on a second story deck. I suspect the deck framing is now compromised and will need attention as it's probably over 20 years old. The rear deck I constructed was done in February of 2005, again 10 years ago. I suspect the sagging is due to a high water table in the yard causing the pier footings to sink. Both problems can be resolved and I've reached out to Ms. [member name removed], but have received no direct communication back from her. I tell ALL my customers, if there are any concerns about anything I've done for them, please let me know, as I want to make it right...even after 10 years. Again, I've done many jobs for Ms. [member name removed] and I value her as a customer and hope to hear from her."

Joe was great. His tile subcontractor needed a bit of oversight. timing could have been a little better with the tile guy.

I am very pleased with the work Joe and Darren have done in my two wayward bathrooms. Both of my bathrooms are very lovely now. We had to wait awhile to find some one who was reliable to do the work. We are Y members and had to use their showers for two months! Everyone we contacted was busy up to two months ahead! We contacted two other contractors on Angies list and met with two. We found that Joe was willing to work with our budget and what fit best in our home so we chose him.
He and Darren were both very timely and I felt comfortable with them both in my home. Everything went pretty smooth, Way smoother I must say than our other re model four years ago. The only snag was because I did not touch bases enough with Joe on some of the things I picked out for the bathroom. That is one thing I would suggest is be sure you go with the contractor so he can measure vanities ect and make sure they will work for your situation. It caused a frustrating day for him but he did manage to make the vanity I had picked out fit into the main bathroom. I so appreciated that he took the time to do so.
When the work was done one of the pipes had a tiny little leak and when we contacted him he promptly came and fixed it keeping his promise that he would fix any problems with the work he had done.
All and all I would recommend Joe to do work in your home with two suggestions for you.
One is be sure you let him be involved with the picking the vanities you want for your bathroom. Listen to his suggestions because where your plumbing is --is a very big deal.
Two make sure you return his phone calls promptly so he can work hand and glove with you.

The bid was a firm bid that included all materials , dates, cost. All work was done on time and correctly. It looks great and will not have to be redone. Contractor was very nice and didn't even let the dogs out of the gate. He is booked up so you may have to wait a while to get him to do your project. It is worth the wait. He is licensed bonded and insured and brings the paperwork to prove it. He also has good references and is not afraid to have you call them.
For the first time ever I can walk on my deck and not be afraid of it falling down.

DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. HE CALLED US LIARS TO OUR FACES BECAUSE WE DEMANDED THAT HE KEEP HIS PROMISE OF A COMPLETION DATE. HE DELIBERATELY LEFT US WITH NO WORKING GUEST BATHROOM FOR AN ANNUAL PARTY AND HE KNEW IT.

THE DAY BEFORE THE PARTY HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THE GUMBO PARTY AND QUIT THE JOB ONLY A DAY AFTER TAKING ANOTHER PAY DRAW. WHEN HE CALLED BACK TO SAY HE WANTED MORE MONEY TO DO WHAT HE HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR. HE WAS TOLD HE WOULD KEEP HIS WORD. "Unfortunately, [member name removed] has a medical condition which affects his memory and moods. I do not dispute that we elected to not finish the job, the first time in over 15 years in business. [member name removed] (not [member name removed]) was verbally abusive to myself and my worker. After both of us, at different times, telling him that his completion date was unattainable, he said to do what ever we want and went back to bed. We did compete one of his bathrooms earlier this year. He was happy with the work and asked us back for his second bathroom. We did not ask for more money, we took a loss on the work we had completed. It was with great regret, that I made the decision I did. Prompt, Did what he said he was going to do. Joe Dennis is the owner and the who performed the job. Arrived on time, work was excellent, Joe was very customer friendly, cleaned up when done. The price was what he said it would be. So impressed, I have him coming back in August to clean up our crawl space with new installation and vapor barrier.

Showed up when promised and completed the work in a very timely fashion. Took 1 day longer than original estimate due to material delay, but he kept us informed the entire time. Cleaned up and hauled away all old wood debris. Some brackets we thought would require replacement were found to be solid and serviceable after work got under way and those items were removed from his quoted price.
Even thought the job took 1 day longer because of a supplier delay, and involved a little more trim work than originally inteneded the finial price was lower than the original estimate.

Joe is very easy to work with, and easy-going. His bid was competitive, and I liked his ideas. Joe works with sub-contractors for the cabinets, countertops and tile work, and he coordinated the jobs very smoothly. I also trusted him with my house key left under the mat when I was at work, and he was very mindful of my little dog at home. Joe also was careful to pay attention when I asked for particular details, such as replacing the baseboard. The quality of the work he did is excellent, and I am very much enjoying my kitchen update. Overall, I am very satisfied with the entire process and outcome. Thank you Joe!

When our house was built we chose not to finish a bathroom in the daylight basement. 16 years later we thought it was time. 3-D construction was 1 of 3 quotes we got. Joe was the most professional and prompt of the contractors and worked well with my husband in deciding what we would purchase, etc. for the job. His quote was reasonable ($6600 without the fixtures, which we purchased at a price of about $2400), he was always on time, the work went very well and he finished on time. We would not hesitate to hire him again.

Joe spent a serious amount of time looking at what I wanted and giving me his advice on what would work. No rushing or and quot;No we can't… and quot; from Joe, unlike what I received when I got an estimate from a larger company. Once I decided to go with 3D Construction, it took about a month for the work to start, which was perfect time for my family and I to go and pick out colors and materials. Joe spent a good month completing the work and was on time. He is totally trustworthy and understands that families still live in the house that’s under construction. Our dog loved him and during the times we couldn't be home, Joe let the dog out for us. We added some work for Joe on top of the bathrooms and even got an estimate on additional work for the future. I would highly recommend 3D Construction and have recommended this company to other family and friends.

They were absolutely excellent. They took care in the work that they did and were very neat. They cleaned the site at the end of each day. They were very considerate of their work being affected by the weather. They took their time to go over any changes or options. They were very interactive with me. They remove cabinets the first day and took out old stove and dishwasher,2nd day counters and sink installed along with new appliances etc. He replaced all lines and pipes under sink new gas lines for stove. 3rd day put back cabinets etc. Joe was great kept the house clean too and even let my dogs out and gave them water while i was gone. Great guy very professional. Helped me make all the right decisions on counter and appiiances.. Looks fabulous i am very pleased.
