When I went to The Ugly Duck, the first thing I told them was I needed items that were in stock or at least at a local warehouse to be available within a couple of days. I completely understand that items are messed up because of the shortage of items in the world and that is why I said this upfront. Within a week we got a call that our entire order was ready, doors, trim, shiplap, and casings. I showed up with a friends trailer I needed to borrow because of the length of the boards, only to be told they only had the shiplap and the doors. Another 10 days goes by and get a call to say the trim and casings were ready, I took off work early again but this time needed to rent a trailer. Must to my dismay, when I got there, I was told only the casings had arrived, not the trim. Don’t believe anything they say about stock coming or being in a local warehouse, this stuff is clearly not here, and then to be called twice and have my time wasted was just an terrible experience.
Description of Work: New doors, trim, and casings.

Can't say how disappointing I am about customer service or product backup. I DO NOT recommend buying from Ugly Duck in Spokane. I bought what I thought was really cool hickory wood floor for a special room in our new house. I spent two full days laying our the pattern I wanted and the professional installer spent two days trying to get it to install correctly. the t&G were small, 1/8" - 1/4" gaps due to odd sizes and each end of the board. 1.5 hours driving to Spokane, I took the $700 floor back. The owner REFUSED to take it back telling me she had sold thousands of feet of the flooring and that the installer just didn't want to install the floor. i assured her he was a professional and had already installed my the floor beautify. She patronized me saying I understand and that it is ok. I told here it was not ok and that she needed to take it back. She again refused saying I understand. My question is what does she understand? she sold defective product and she screwed me out of $700? Just remember if you shop at The Ugy Duck in Spokane [*** Link removed ***] , BUYER BEWARE!

it didnot go.
Description of Work: We purchased wood doors to replace the fake white doors in our house, as well as all of the doors for the basement buildout. several o0f the doors begin to delaminate after several monts. The owner claimed we had gotten the doors wet moving them from his shop to our house. He had forgotten that he delivered then. He then poured some glue into the crack and ran a screw in the side and gave me back the door, when I refused the fix he used very foul languge and ordered me off his property. Since then three more doors are starting to crack out. It appears that the manufacturer did not properly glue the doors.

Approximattly four months after getting the doors sveveral of the doors had glue failure where the skin of the door was acually torn. When we took the doors back to Ugly Duck the owner basically told me that we had gotten the doors wet and in very crude language told us to get out of his shop. The doors had no evidence of getting wet and had been finished for several months. After some heated discussion. It was agreed that they would replace the blanks but we had to pay for the cutting of the hinge points to match the old doors. The charge to cut the hinge points was approx. double what the charge was on the inital order. We will not go back to this business ever.In addition we will share our story with everyone that mentions Ugly Duck.
Description of Work: We purchased doors, (some prehung and some blanks),.
