The Spokane office of The Cleaning Authority has been open since 2003 and is currently serving approximately 600 customers. We take pride in being the best quality cleaning service available in the Spokane area. The owner Mark & Sue Silver are both Spokane natives who attended WSU and UW as well as their two boys attending LC and UW. We guarantee all of our cleans. If there is ever any problem, we are happy to come back and make things right. Our quality team performs dozens of daily inspections to ensure consistent quality. We are the 4 time winner of The Cleaning Authority's national "Merit of Excellence" award. We are Gold Members members of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International. We Are very proud to have partnered with a non-profit organization, Cleaning for a Reason. As a residential cleaning service, we offer free house cleaning to women currently undergoing cancer treatment. We feel blessed to help these women in a small way. Started out great. After the first cleaning every week it got worse and worse. I even called to bring it to the attention and they apologized charged half the rate for the next cleaning, and things were still forgotten on the checklist. Whats the point of the checklist if your skipping it? Their "detail" items for the week were not even done. Frustrating. I don't want to have to monitor or check everything after they leave, I just want it to be done right even if its more expensive. Also they have a whole list of things they will not do due to "insurance"...top of fridge, windows, etc.

It went very well. The women worked continuously and I am happy with the result. Next time I will ask for shutters and blinds to be cleaned with a cloth and cleaner instead of feather duster. The floors were beautifully cleaned and vacuumed or mopped. The bathrooms were well cleaned.

I've been a Cleaning Authority customer for 6 years and couldn't be happier. Over the years ( my wife and I are in our 50's) we've mostly used "independent" cleaners. Some were excellent but over time their quality deteriorated to the point where I had to let them go, moreover, we'd had things break without the cleaner admitting they've broken an item or when they did never offered to compensate us for the broken item, wed also had things stolen or missing without ever being able to do anything about it. I finally decided that I'd go with a professional cleaning service. Initially, TCA was not my first choice. However after trying a couple of other "so called" professional services I hired The Cleaning Authority. There isn't another company that compares with their overall service quality and professionalism. Are they perfect? No. But, when I'd have that rare occasion where I had to contact the owner or manager about an issue they've always remedied the problem quickly and without an "attitude." which I really appreciate. Nobody likes to have to complain but when a complaint is received easily and remedied promptly it solves the issue. Its amazing that week after week the cleaners come to our home and for us, its a luxury we've chosen to not live without. Its comforting to know that you're going to come on the day they've been there and have a clean, fresh smelling home.

Not good! Too rushed at end of the day of there shift, 1 worker showed up an hour later than the window they gave me, then 3 others showed up at different times, they were here for about a hour. Carpets were still dirty, it was obvious they were in a rush! After contacting them, I was told that since I was a monthly client, I was just a fill in for them and would be cleaned normally at the end of the day just like the last time, weekly and bi-monthly were the priorities. I had been with this company for 5 years, and for the most part, other than the last year, they did a good job.

At first the cleaning team was amazing. Loved seeing the same faces and loved the job they did. They definitely deserved an A rating--but now deserve a D or F. For the past 8 weeks we have really been disappointed. The team is never the same. Then only 1 person started coming for the same amount of time as 2. I could just barely tell the cleaner had done more than changed the beds and swept. TCA came back and recleaned once, and charged us half their rate another time. Both times I called and complained. I have requested that 1 person never come to our home again - we have been put on a knew schedule. We will see what happens. But for now they are on probation as far as we are concerned.

The Cleaning Authority has been cleaning my home weekly for some time. I recently let them go as the cleaning became mediocre and the staff was constantly rotating.

The Cleaning Authority has been cleaning my home every other week since November 2015. I have had to call on several occasions because the crew has not been thorough with the cleaning. Each time they have come in I notice that the rotation cleaning of the designated area doesn't look any better than the normal cleaning. My nik nak's have dust building up along with my lights that hang over the kitchen counter. The last time they came in they left my kitchen appliances all over and so out of sort that I had to spend time putting that back where they belonged. I have to clean both of my toilets within a few days of the cleaning because they never do a thorough cleaning of them. The staff has always been nice when I have called and pointed out the less than quality cleaning that I pay for and they always come in the next day. I have been thinking about finding another service because of their lack of quality cleaning.

They do a great job. Will go for a year or more with the same crew cleaning our house every other week -- this continuity is great because the crew gets a sense of the house and the cleaning is consistent. Every so often (like once every other year) the crew changes or there is a substitution and if we aren't happy with results we just give a quick call and they send a crew back out to re-clean anything we think needs more attention. A big reason we went with this company is that they provide health benefits to their cleaners (at least they did--hope they still do!)

"I appreciate customers comments. Our records indicate last service was performed in April of 2008. That is over 7years ago. Time constraints are difficult in this business. Things change day to day, hour to hour. We promise customers a 2 hour arrival time window. Our instructions for this client did not indicate any specific time request. I am really unhappy with them. They did not arrive within the time range to clean the home. The second time I had to cancel because they were going to take more time than I had. I called their customer service and they were not professional. They did not work with my schedule to clean the home. They were unwilling to be flexible and had terrible customer service. They do not answer the phone, they use an answering service.

"Due to the customer’s business travel schedule, she was crystal clear with me that she would be unable to set up a permanent cleaning time slot. There was a mutual agreement to arrange service for the initial cleans and then on an on call basis, where we would do our best to work her into our schedule of our regular 750 weekly and bi-weekly customers. I even have notes supporting that with a bid showing an hourly rate for on call scheduling. The first clean was arranged, and we gave her an arrival time of between 11am and 1pm. Our team arrived at 12:34pm, and we cleaned her home as arranged. The second time the customer’s clean was set up, she was called to confirm the time of arrival. She was very unhappy with the time we were able to give her. We explained that regular, permanent weekly, and bi-weekly customers always get our preferred scheduling, and we do not move them to accommodate on call basis customers. Phone calls are answered throughout the day by our corporate customer assistants. They are able to answer many of the questions from customers. Those calls needing more follow up are forwarded to us. This allows our staff to be in the field working with our teams and clients. Customers always have a real person to speak with, and we personally follow up all calls needing our personal attention. Our goal is to create long term, satisfied customers. While we try to accommodate clients with unusual schedules, we would never move one of regular clients. This was made clear from the start."
