The food they had us buy didn't help. When our dog got in and at all the special duck chow it was over the holidays and stores weren't open so we fed the cat an old can of wet food and he kept it down. I went back in hoping to talk to the vet and ask about why that might be and options the receptionist accused me of just wanting to feed my cat cheap food. Never going back.

The last time I had him in, she told me that “maybe this is the new normal for him.” That was the wrong thing to say.

They suggested a dry cat food with duck as the main ingredient. We fed our cat the food and he improved somewhat. over the holidays when they were not open our dog found and ate all the duck food. We had a couple of cans of wet food and we gave that to him. He stopped vomiting. We tried that a few more times with good results. We went back to tell the veterinarian the results and get a new appointment. The front desk person sneered "Well, if you want to feed him cheap cat food". I never went back.

They just do cats, they don't do dogs. I'm not aware that they do any other kind of animals. I used to go to a vet that did dogs and ferrets. We had a cat that had to spend the night and they put our cat in a cage above two yappy dogs and my cat does not appreciate that. This clinic is closer to my home anyway. When this clinic opened up I said, "That's for me, cats only." They're a little high on price. They love cats. I usually get right in, they don't overbook their appointments. They're just very caring and they lookout for the cats. They're just very knowledgeable about cats. My one cat had an ear infection and I didn't even know it. So they caught that ear infection. They're just very attentive to cats. They're just perfect people for a cat clinic.

Everything went really well and my cats are much healthier and happier since their dental work has been completed. I brought one of my cats in several months earlier because he needed extensive work done on his teeth. Two prior vets missed the problem, but both Dr. Day and Dr. Forster diagnosed the problem with his teeth. Dr. Forster performed several extractions along with a thorough teeth cleaning. My cat's health vastly improved after his first dental procedure. In October 2013, I brought my other cat in for dental care, which included extractions and cleaning. My cat who had the prior dental work was also treated for some follow-up dental procedures. Dr. Forster treated both cats the same day, which was very convenient for me. I was very pleased with the work done on my cats and how Dr. Forster and the clinic treated me and my cats. I received a call either from the doctor or her assistant each time one of my cats went in for the procedure. I was told how they were doing and how the procedure went. My cats recovered well after each procedure and there were no complications. The clinic called me after I brought my cats home to make sure they were doing okay, and to see if I had any questions. Overall, I was very satisfied and impressed with Dr. Forster and the clinic. I was also satisfied with the costs for all the procedures. Dental work for cats is typically expensive, but I thought what I paid was very reasonable. Dr. Forster even told me that if my cats had their dental work done in October, I would receive a 10% discount due to a special that was running that month. I appreciated the doctor letting me know I could wait a few weeks to bring the cats in so that I could receive the discount. The cost for the exams is also very reasonable, considering how much time the doctors spend with the cat. The care my cats have received at The Cat's Meow has been better than other vets I have gone to, and has also been less expensive.

They have taken good care of my cat. They have taken care very well. They do what I take her there for. It was a referral by my son. They are good. They fulfill the needs.

We have newly moved to the Spokane area and I used both Angie's List and Yelp to help find a recommended veterinarian for our 12 year old cat. The Cat's Meow had several positive reviews so I booked an appointment to meet one of the doctors and have my cat examined.
I was initially surprised by the reception I received upon checking in. The receptionist was distracted and unfriendly and a bit annoyed that I had shown up early to the appointment ( the clinic is a 30 minute drive from my home and I was uncertain of the location of the clinic so I allowed extra time). Apparently, there had been several early morning problems at the clinic so the staff was scrambling. By the time my appointment was over she had collected herself and was helpful.
I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Brenda Day, who is friendly and professional and I was pleased to make her acquaintance. Since it is a cat-only clinic the level of expertise with felines is high and they understand the nuances of different breeds.
It could have been a better experience overall, but I think the clinic is worth a recommendation.

I've got a geriatric cat and she's having a lot of trouble. They seem to be good, caring, helpful, and compassionate. Sometimes I think that they make a wrong diagnosis but they do a really nice job. They are responsive and answer my questions.

New to Spokane, I checked the Yelp and Angie's list ratings of Vets and found that Cat's Meow rated high on Yelp. As this clinic specializes and, indeed, restricts its practice to cats, I immediately called them and made an appointment for a check-up.. As I waited to see the vet, I spoke with a couple of women in the waiting room. Both had had long experience with this clinic and gave glowing testimonials to Dr. Day's and Dr. Forester's care for their animals. After a short wait, a tech invited me to bring the cat into a treatment room for the usual weigh-in and inquiry about problems. Shortly thereafter Dr. Day came in and did a thorough examination of my cat and, beyond a small problem, found nothing major. The medication I needed for my cat's particular problem was available at her clinic. I highly recommend Cat's Meow to other cat owners looking for outstanding vets with specialized knowledge of their cats

About as well as you could expect when you have a cat with kidney failure. Brenda was very straightforward about our cat's prognosis and kinds of things we could do for him. She was professional and kind, but also very honest, which I appreciated.

They were very caring and took the time to talk with me about my cat. They did a great job of explaining all my options and the expenses. They were very patient with me answering my questions in the office and on the phone. My price included the testing and medication.
