Dave was available early for me to drop off my car.  I had a price quote from him for the work from when he did the LOF.  He had explained to me that loaded struts would cost more in parts, but save a great deal in labor and save me from having another part fail down the line.  My car was ready around lunch time, and the price was exactly as quoted.  The service and quality that I receive here is unparalleled.  He has even fixed my old truck where other mechanics have failed to diagnose the problem and still charged me a load of money.  With the exception of recall work, this is the only place we take our vehicles now.

The owner of the company is a hard-working and very honest man. He is very fair with his diagnosis and pricing, and he always has completed the job in a timely manner. This is the best place to take your car to get fixed in town!

Stanley's was recommended to me by a friend. We had just driven from Ohio to Spokane, then down to Oregon twice, all in the past 2 months, and my poor car was feeling the strain. I had been getting a burning oil smell and sometimes visible smoke from the engine. When I took it to Stanley's Dave put it up on their lift right away to get a better look. He took my husband and I out to see as well, and explained everything he was looking at. He decided that it would be best to run an oil dye through the engine to better pinpoint where the leak was coming from. He got us set to go, and didn't charge us at all for this initial inspection and service. We returned to the shop after the weekend, and Dave showed us where the dye was appearing underneath the car, and where exactly the leak was coming from. He said to give him a day or two to get the best prices he could on the parts, and during that time we called two or three other shops for a quote as well - each of which were over $2000. Dave came back to us with a parts and labor quote of about $1200 - he had called multiple sources for parts, and even checked to see if it would be cheaper to replace the whole engine. Dave really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of at a reasonable price. If we were still living in Spokane I would go back to Stanley's for every car service.
