We have completed thousands of small residential to large state and federal projects. Safety for our workers and clients are of special importance to us. We manage all projects with the protection of the environment, employees and tenants in mind. Specialty Environmental performs all work at or above E.P.A and local agency regulations. 700 sq foot cabin to be demolished. No occupants. No concerns about damaging the house, or protecting inhabitants. Testing cost over $2300. My contractor claims their workers were gone after 90 minutes. They claim they *left and came back* - from a remote site that takes 45 minutes to drive to? Took a total of 1/2 a yard to disposal. Charged another $4400. If you want to grossly overpay and get treated poorly when you inquire about excessive charges, then these are your guys.

They responded very quickly to my initial contact. I spoke to a field person right away and met with him 2 days later. I received the asbestos report that I needed 2 working days after that. Everything was handled very professionally and timely. I am very satisfied with the overall service.

I was told falling tiles in my basement ceiling were probably asbestos and could find no one to deal with it for me. Turing to my faithful helper Home Advisor I got a list of abatement companies. The Specialty Environmental Group returned my call right away made an appointment for the next day and rushed my test to get an answer almost right away. I have no point of reference as to their pricing but it did no seem drastically high and well worth it for the peace of mind. Oh, by the way, we had no asbestos.

Cole was very polite, educated about ancestors procedures and disposal, and provided reference upon request. I Had my house tested for asbestos. He was able to visually inspect some areas to determine if they needed testing and saved my $$. The pricing was reasonable ($150 to come out, $35 per sample). The trading was done locally at a third party lab and I recieved my results before the week was over. some of the samples came back positive for asbestos, but I was not pressured to do abatement immediately. I did ask for a quote though.

Did not get the paperwork we needed when they were done and that he had promised. Said he was to busy and never followed up. No follow through. Still have not received it or my receipt and it has been 2 weeks after completion.
