Dana was very professional and I was very surprised as I had found him listed on Craig's list. I visited his website and chose to give him a try. He met with me and gave me a very professionally written up quote with every step itemized, then walked me throguh who he would recommend for the plumbing and electrical. These were nto included in the bid, but he offered to. I just wanted to shop around on my own. I was shocked at how quickly he finished the job and was worried the workmanship would not be top-notch, especially since I did nto go with top quality materials, but everything turned out so beautifully! I went with a cheaper floor tile, but he put it in diagonally with a neat pattern that really made it look expensive. He poured the countertops himself and warned me that concrete does not always look how you expect it to in the end, but he really did a great job. The cabinets are not exactly what I had pictured, but I ordered them and honestly cannot blame him because he did a great job of trying to make it turn out. I wish now that I had had him build them custom as the countertops are the very best part of the kitchen and the cabinets I chose really detract from the effect. (Hickory and concrete do NOT go well together!) I am considering remodeling my basement now and will not consider anyone else. His business is small and I really hope this review helps him out because I truly wish him the best. He is a great guy! Oh, and we did NOT go over budget!
