I hired Brian to tear out the spindly 4 x 4 supports I built a few years ago, and replace them with 6 x 6 posts and to pour some cement columns for them to anchor to. Also, the columns had to be placed on proper footings. Brian is exceptionally accurate in his measuring, and was always checking and double checking his plumb bob. He works very hard and the quality of his work was wonderful, It is as if he is working on his own home. I helped pour the cement into the forms and I helped lift the 6 x 6 posts onto the columns when the cement dried. Brian contracted out the cement pillar caps and had the cement colored dark charcoal to match the paint color we have chosen for our home. Everything looks awesome, I just need to add the decorative stones to the pillars, Brian offered that service as well, but I am looking forward to that finishing touch myself.
