R.W. Gal lion did our kitchen 4 years ago and because of the beautiful job they did then, we had them do our bathrooms. They are always very professional and their quality of work is outstanding.

It went very well.
Our builder, Tom Sohns, Unique Cabinets, took us to RW Gallion to see granite for out kitchen remodel project.
Tom recommended Randy Gallion and one other granite company for us to visit. We were so happy with R W Gallion , that we never even visited the competitor.
His wife Carolyn and the staff were friendly, patient and guided us through the learning process of granite patterns, colors, grades and prices. They recommended that we visit their suppliers' stock , which we did.
We decided finally on one of the very first slabs we had admired at their store, and bought it. It was installed today.

Randy Gallion is a Master Granite Installer. He and his staff, Brandon and Ryan, put in 62 sq. feet of breathtaking granite in our kitchen. It was a rainy day, yet they maneuvered massive, heavy granite from the truck, across the lawn, through the front entry, through the living room and into the kitchen. When they left, except for our beautiful granite countertops, there was no sign that they had been here. Everything was spotless.

Randy Gallion has been installing granite for so many years, that he was able to put in galley-style slabs and it is nearly impossible to find the seams. It is breathtaking to see the beautiful granite and also to imagine that much talent in this gifted man.
We love our new kitchen.

Had several minor issues with plumbing and electrical but easily resolved. RW Gallon was very helpful and easy to work with. Their granite and tile work are exceptional. RW is upfront with cost estimate with no surprises. Thought my project was slightly over-priced but decided to accept the bid. Was tired of unsatisfactory work by other trades. For this reason, the rating of B was selected on price. If you can afford the very best, highly recommend this company.

As a seasoned construction project manager and inspector for over 25 years on multi million dollar commercial and custom projects I know quality workmanship and professionalism when I see it. When it came time to do a complete remodel on my personal home I searched high and low for the best supplier / installer and selected RW Gallion in Spokane Valley for my kitchen and fireplace granite as well as new carpeting throughout the house.

Randy Gallion and his wife Carolyn are the owners / operators of this business and it is very apparent why this business has been so successful for 60 plus years.

When we requested assistance's in our planning stage for material suggestions and ideas we were quickly impressed with the variety of ideas and talent that Carolyn Gallion and her design staff had suggested to enhance our endeavor. The ability to combine the perfect colors and materials for that “Wow” factor look we wanted for our home is absolutely stunning, it’s an unbeatable combination of finishes and granite selection. They even suggest a hardwood floor refinisher that we used and were very pleased with.

I was invited to visit their fabrication shop and witness the sure beauty of the newly installed state of the art computerized granite cutting and finishing equipment. Randy spares no expense to assure his equipment, shop practices and installation crew are top notch and he oversees each step of the project. Their installation, seams and finishes are truly the nicest I’ve ever come across.

Gallion's is thoroughly professional from the in house design team to their extras personable, precise, execution and they are competitively priced.

From start to finish took about five weeks. We took bids/proposals from two other providers during this period and selected RW Gallion based on our experience with Carolyn, Owner/Designer at the shop and discussion with Randy regarding the process. We also liked the look and feel of the granite we selected. Price was important, but they were not the low bidder. As mentioned above, we were persistent at getting all of the costs detailed up front. A number of elements go into the pricing - granite cost, cutting (sinks, stove tops), edges (standard and special), sealing and so on. Measurements are important and can impact pricing as a multiple -- square footage and linear feet measurements are used to determine various costs. We did our own drawings and calculations and found it helpful to determine (and understand) the final pricing.
Coordination of the various aspects of the remodel was important. RW Gallion worked closely with the cabinet guys, the floor refinishers, the plumber and electician to get everything installed in the right order. It was actually quite remarkable to see the new oven/range slip into the hole that was cut in the granite and watch the various craftsman work together to make everything fit. Cross-referral was integral in the the process and it was apparent that the various companies used for our remodel had worked together in the past.
All we have left to do is the tile backsplash and our new kitchen will be complete. We are happy. It looks great and we stayed on budget. We heartily recommend RW Gallion to anyone looking to upgrade your kitche - or other room - with the look and feel of granite or stone.

We initially chose RW Gallion based on their Website reviews. We visited the showroom and visited with the sales staff who are very professional. They showed us examples of the seams, edges and demonstrated the quality we should expect. The sales staff were also excellent in discussing sink choices, back splash designs and colors and making sure the granite we selected was of excellent quality. They offered this help even though we did not purchase these items from them. At this point, I was convinced I had chosen the right company for the job.
Before I go on I will state that the installation was a perfect job, the edges were nice,and the seams were excellent. These were the reasons I chose them initially and from this respect they performed as expected.
However, I have to rate the professionalism and follow up as only a C. The installer came to my house for measurements but the sink was not available. I texted the model info and left messages but they never confirmed receipt of this information and so I was not sure they even had the right information and was afraid they would cut my $6000 worth of granite improperly. Additionally they did not have the courtesy to even give an indication of when the installation would occur. Even my Cabinet installer who was coordinating with them did not know until the day before. During the installation, the installers made absolutely no effort to contain the dust by hanging plastic barriers as they sanded the cabinets and drilled holes in the granite. The dust went everywhere including inside our Piano. This was absolutely unacceptable and I would have never chosen RW Gallion if I knew this was the care they offered for their customers.
Please note this is their first review. It was a quality installation but an unprofessional experience. I normally only choose A rated supplies on Angie's List and if I had read this review I probably would have chosen another company
