Mike and crew did an excellent job.  From coming up with the solutions for the two paver projects and helping to envision the patio's final layout to completing the project in a timely and conscientious manner with attention to detail and clean-up, working with Desert Sun was a pleasure.  I'd highly recommend them.

These guys are wonderful.  We called several companies from Angie's List and only 2 responded to us.  One did not do work in this area and, lucky for us, Desert Sun was the other.  We recently purchased a house that the grounds had not been well taken care of, just sort of left to become overgrown.  They came out and performed miracles as far as I am concerned, reshaping all the shrubs, pruning dead and overgrown branches, weeding the beds, and exposing the edging between the beds and the lawn that were so overgrown that you couldn't even tell it was there.  They will be doing our weekly mowing, and even though this project was small potatos to what they usually do, they acted like it was the most important job they had ever done.  Courteous, polite, punctual, and very personable.  They even came in under their estimate.  I can't say enough positive things about this experience.

xt This year, they came out to see if all the fall plantings survived and make sure we are happy.  WE ARE.  They helped develop a plan for the back and side yards that would visually and physically separate the yard from the work area (storage, and the messes men can make that drive women crazy) and from the vegetable and flower gardens.  They did all the clean up from winter and hauled it away.  They organized all the spare garden materials, rocks, boards, etc. into the work area.  They installed irrigation into the vegetable beds and into the planting beds.  They completely cleaned the garden paths and laid down a gravel base with borders in wood to mark the garden off from the lawn.  They have had concrete borders installed and will do landscape fabric in the flower beds and will also apply bark to the areas we've chosen to cover until we work on those areas in fall or possibly next year.  They are great in communicating their plans and work around times that are convenient to us.  They always are careful and cleanup completely.  They also roll with the changes and don't act like it's a major annoyance if I don't like something or if I change my mind as we approach a job.  I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about working with these people.

A great experience.  We interviewed four companies.  We clicked with Mike immediately.  He didn't take himself so seriously that we felt like our voices wouldn't be heard and that we would end up with something we didn't love. He was someone we really wanted to work with.  He spent a lot of time with us just walking the property and talking.  He brought a plan with a specific design plan, including plants.  His price included plants and irrigation and was extremely reasonable.  We decided we wanted to "upgrade" the majority of the plants because we wanted something no one else had.  They really embraced our ideas and showed up with a truck full of beautiful specimens.  I loved some of the ideas they incorporated that I never would have thought of and were open to things we didn't love.   Together we had great success.  All of the guys on the crew were professional and fun to work with.  The entire job took not much more than a week.  Everyday, I go out there and look at the yard and am so thrilled and proud.  We are going to use this company do completely redesign our back yard as well in the spring.  Mike already has ideas and we are eager to begin.
