Mr Chimney provided excellent customer service from the time I called to get the estimate to when the job was complete. The guys who repaired the chimney were very knowledgeable and did a great job on the chimney and with the clean up. I will recommend them to others.

The repairs were completed adequately.  However, an hour before the initial appointment I got a phone call saying he "couldn't make it" - no reason or explanation given.  I was called later and rescheduled for the following week.  I waited through the window of time he was supposed to arrive, and then started calling.  After two attempts (and more waiting) he called back and said he didn't realize my appointment was on his list for that day.  At least he apologized for the inconvenience this time.  However, he will not get any further business from me.

We moved into a new house less than a week before Christmas. We really wanted to have a cozy fire on Christmas Day but we knew from our home inspection that the chimney needed some attention. We called Mr. Chimney hoping they might be available on short notice. They were very accommodating. They inspected and cleaned the chimney and fireplaces. They were very thorough. They covered everything around the hearths up so that not a bit of soot got anywhere on the hearths our surrounding floor. Then they walked us through where and how to control the draft, and even explained how to operate a funky 70's blower insert we have in the basement fireplace. They also let us know about some preventive work that needs to be done this summer on the grout above the roof line and gave us a reasonable quote for the work. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and customer service.

Mark and Chris ran a little late but called before due to explain why. As important as what they did was what they didn't do - they did not charge me for an unnecessary cleaning. They were very good about explaining the condition of the chimney. They installed caps (on two chimneys) at my request. They were knowledgable, professional and a delight to work with. I would recommend mr. Chimney and will use them again.
