Mark's time estimate was right on. Took two guys about one day to dig 18" trench and set up wiring. Another day to install and pull new wiring and replace dirt and sod. Only complaint was they didn't have anything to put dirt on to protect grass when they dug trench. I thought ahead and had cardboard to protect grass. Two weeks later and grass looks good except for some minor spots.

Called several places in the week of Jan. 1 and the few that returned the call quoted outrages prices for a small electrical job. After reading Mountain States Electric reviews I gave them a call. They were friendly and willing to help. Mountain States Electrical send an electrician to my home the next day. He was courteous, honest and knew his profession. The job was completed under an hour. Their fees are very reasonable compared to other places. I would highly recommend Mountain States Electric to any family, friends and acquaintances. I will use them again in the future for other jobs. Job well done.

Best price I found after calling 6+ places. He was really honest about what I was getting myself into for replacing knob and tube wiring. They were able to schedule me within 48 hours which was incredible since most places quoted 4-6 weeks wait. The guy showed up prompt and on time which is something I really look for in a business, is if I can rely on them. I was quoted a price and was told I wouldn't be charged for if it took more time, just if they needed more supplies. In the end, he over quoted me a little bit so it ended up being cheaper than expected which was great! They guy who showed up was nice and called another guy to help who was really polite and friendly. The job took longer than expected but the electrician went above and beyond. He was just supposed to replace the wire to my stove and reconnected my entire breaker box after realizing we almost died in house fire. I will be using them to replace all the knob and tube wiring in my house.
