Mike Gardiner

Mike Gardiner was one of three bidders for the job.  His price was competitive and he was chosen because he was going to be the one who built the deck, not hand it off to subs.  He has his own company and did the job in a timely manner.  We noticed right away he thought thru each step of the job and provided us with different ideas along the way.  He also asked lots of questions to make sure we were in sync.  He arrived on time each day and worked over the weekend when we were out of town to get the job done on time.  He did not leave our job to start another job, as can often be the case with construction. He cleaned up the site at the end of each day.  The deck is perfect.  It was designed with a border around the edges and the miters were nicely done.  The enclosure around the base was also neatly finished off.  The connection to the house was precisely cut-in.  Mike takes pride in doing a a better than average job.  I have seen a lot of construction in my years as a real estate agent and Mike is definitely not a "slap and dab" builder.  I would highly recommend him.
