MICROCENTERS INC

I have been having my computer repair done by Microcenters Inc. for about 7 years.  The repairs have always been quick, effective and inexpensive.  This latest experience was no exception.  The problem turned out to be a circuit board that had worked loose over time.  The solution was to re-seat the circuit board.  The only cost was 1/2 hour labor.  A less honest repair person could have charged for a new circuit board or keyboard without my being able to tell the difference.  About a year ago I had a problem with my desktop computer that was an intermittent failure to boot up.  I took it in to Microcenters and he could not find a problem, since the computer started working.  He again only charged me for 1/2 hour.  I returned several times because the problem kept popping up again.  The labor was always free on subsequent visits and twice I agreed to buy a new part to try and solve the problem.  Being a retired computer engineer I knew the difficulties in solving intermittent problems.  We finally agreed that I should just buy a new one, which I did.  I did not think any other repair shop would have spent the time Don spent on my computer without charging me for the time.  I could not give a higher rating than to Microcenters.
