Merry Maids of Spokane

I contacted this company and the individual I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and able to do a short notice job with little to no stress on my end. They did an amazing job and even though they were a little more costly then the other estimate I had, they got done and very well!

Everything was cleaned as promised. When they left, i called my neighbor to tell her that my house was so clean and fresh, that I was going to go to bed without touching anything .

This company has been doing a good job. They have been reliable and more than willing to accomodate changes in the schedule if I needed it. They have occasionally missed something but made it right if I called them. I have been getting a good value for the money spent.

I have used them for several years. I have used them before I moved into this area. I have had a good experience with them before. They are pretty much comparable with everybody else.

They are really good. I would use them again.

We have been using this company bi-weekly for 3 visits to date and have been extremely satisfied. Their attention to detail has been remarkable and they have cleaned ledges and shelves that were routinely missed by other services. They have brought a professional attitude and have been happy to accomodate any requests to change which parts of the home are scheduled to be cleaned. Their price is competitive and in fact actually a little lower than the others we have tried. We will continue to use this service indefinitely.

They were very responsive and had a person come the same day I called to give me an estimate. Everyone was very friendly and helpful on the phone. When scheduled the cleaning we left it as tentative and I postponed it because we were not going to be completely done moving. I left a key on the day they were coming and everything went smoothly. There were places that were kind of icky that I didn't want to clean but everything was very nice when we came back to check. I was very happy and will have them give me an estimate for the house we bought for cleaning routinely.

Very poor experience. After having to call them out a second time because of things that I still did not feel were clean (i.e., cleaning the crude/grease from the crack around the stovetop) I was told that because I did not SPECIFICALLY tell them that needed to be done/cleaned, they didn't do it. When I asked why I needed to tell a professional housecleaning company what and how to clean something I was told "because everyone has a different standard of cleaning". So bascially if I was a slob, it would be okay to not clean the stovetop, wipe down the cabinets, wipe down the shelves, etc. There were several areas that were not cleaned and when I asked about these I was told "Had you asked, I would have told you we don't do that." Again, being a person of normal standards, I did not feel that I was assuming too much that they would try to clean the oven door, under drip pans on stovetop (just as an examples). Laura, who came out to give me the estimate was very proud of the fact they take two weeks to train there personnel how to clean 'their way'. Based on this comment and the overall reputation of Merry Maids, I was confident I was getting a good service. This was an insulting experience and I would NEVER hire them again. Heck, I could have hired a few eager high school students, given them some direction and paid a fraction of what I did. Maybe next time I'll do just that!!!
