We did pay for it and it was fair and he was punctual. It was good. We use them for all four of our cars.

It has gone well. It's always really good. They didn't charge at all because everything seemed to be fine. They had done an oil change a couple of weeks before and they noticed this time that it was overfilled and so they fixed it and they didn't charge anything. They've always been great.

I chose them based on reviews that I read on Google, and I knew that they had expanded to a South Hill location within the past few years. I called them on Thursday and told them the situation. They told me that they could order my parts and have then in the shop on Friday and start work on Monday. Price was comparable to a dealership. I dropped off my vehicle on Friday, and work was completed by noon on Monday. I basically knew what I wanted them to do, but felt comfortable having them work on my make and model of vehicle. They also let me bring in a few parts that I had already purchased. It was a fast, easy, pleasant experience.

I was very impressed and pleased my first time going to these guys we met Mike. I had went to three other places and had quotes. they all said I needed the timing belt replaced on a used car I had just recently purchased. I went to these guys, didn't even tell them what I was told from the previous place just said I thought it was the timing belt. They got me in quickly that day, made myself and my three young children as comfortable as could be while waiting, and did the inspection free of charge. They came back and told me no it was not my timing belt that it had just been replaced within the last two years. they said it was a smaller belt and it would cost under $80 to fix. I then showed them the other quotes I had received all well over $900+ and they went over them and told me nothing on that list needed fixed. I was so thankful I went to them and did not listen to the other places. They gained a life long customer that day. I refer all my friends and family to them.

since then I have went in for all my car issues and they are always friendly and helpful.

Brought my beloved old F150 in for what I believed to be a computer failure. The instrument cluster was going on and off, 4x4 would not engage, wipers went out and power plugs had stopped working. My instructions to them were to "just fix it and call me when it is ready". They called and told me it only needed a new battery and connectors. I was very happy, that not only the truck did not need a new computer but they were honest and respected the carte blanc I had entrusted them with. My only surprise was that they installed a NAPA battery instead of the Interstate they had said they were putting in. No big deal, just a small surprise. Super friendly and professional. Mechanics Pride will be my service facility for my vehicles not still in factory warranty.

They are honest and are very customer oriented. If you have an issue with their prior repair there is no need to make an appointment. They simply say bring the car in and they'll fit you in.

At lease in my instance, they had my vehicle and they missed some important things that should have been caught. They were about to charge me a bunch of money on things that probably didn't need fixed. I would seriously not recommend them.

I had a problem with my 99 chevy suburban.  Its engine was missing at highway speed especially pulling a load.  The Air Conditioner, also, was not cooling well.
Mechanics Pride  agreed to Look at it and figure out what was going wrong.  They reported the following Problems and costs to repair.
A/C needed Freon.     $100
Oxygen Sensor            $200
Fuel Pump                     $1000+
Distributor Cap and rotor  $?
I could not afford all of that at once,  so I opted to just have them do the first two items.
Result.  The engine still started hard and missed badly so I decided to replace the distributor cap and rotor on my own (not a huge job.).  In the process I found and corrected another two things wrong.  That I think they really should have found.  First there was a spark plug wire off.  Second a half disconnected and very plugged air cleaner.
After fixing those problems the engine started and ran much better, smoothly at highway speeds.  I'm glad I didn't put out the $1000 for a new fuel pump.
P.S. The A/C now cools better but has a distinct "BRRRRRR" when on,  overfilled?
