provide all of the products and supplies. She said they would not use anything stronger like pine sol unless I requested it. I said no my husband can't stand it and he has COPD and is battling throat cancer. On the day of the cleaning I was told they would arrive between 8 and 9. They arrived at 9 and asked for a step stool to borrow. One of the ladies did not speak or understand much of the English she was very nice and likable but it was difficult to realize I couldn't say much to her without the other nice lady interpreting. Both women were very nice and worked hard. As I worked upstairs and my husband was working upstairs the smell was very strong. They cleaned with Pine sol, scrubbing bubbles with bleach and comit. Seriously and truly that is what they had. They went into my closet and used my vacuum. When I told them that I was guaranteed and given a brochure that they use natural products they apologized and said the owner never told them and then asked if I could provide the product I wanted used. I told them I used them because my husband has COPD and throat cancer and this was too strong. They were nice and apologetic but repeated they never were told. So their standard is pine sol, scrubbing bubbles and comit? The cleaning job was good but not thorough. They promise top of fridge but didn't. They didn't wipe fireplace screen (brass over gas fireplace) or stand at top of stairs. I told them I would do top of cabinets. Cabinet faces were not wiped well if at all. Bathrooom door and door knob untouched. I paid for deep clean (and I had the same rooms on main floor deep cleaned the week prior) but stove was a quick wipe and not well. Perhaps they didn't have enough allotted time? I wanted this to work due to our family crisis right now. I called the owner immediately. No response.
Later, I contacted Tanya for another cleaning date, since I wanted to get the overpayment of the first cleaning back. The two ladies that we wanted did come on 12/17/2012, and again did a wonderfull cleaning job. I would love to continue having these ladies clean our house in the future, however, my wife and are very disappointed with the owners of Live Clean Today, and we will not give them our business. To recap, the employes are great, but the company and management are unprofessional and not responsive or even honest in their business dealings. We can't put up with overcharging, lying, and canceling at the last minute.
"In our defense, due to lack of manpower the day of, we were not able to send the same ladies that they requested but did everything in our power by sending another team, specifically the owner himself to make sure that they would be happy. On the way there, got a flat tire, tried calling the client but were not able to reach them (they had an appointment and the only number they provided was their home number). The initial cleaning was 2 extra hours in addition to the 2 hours purchased from Groupon, a total of 4 hours. One of the ladies who cleaned called management to ask for the amount and were told $100 for 2 extra hours. The client called to let me know they wrote a check for $200, I offered to either send the extra $100 back or use as credit toward the next cleaning. They chose to use it as credit because they were very happy and satisfied with the cleaning. When we received the review, we called them, trying to make things work. She was unwilling to work with us, calling us liars and saying that we cut them out so we can make more money on other clients. Which is not true. I apologized and was crying out to her from the bottom of my heart to try to work things out. She said no, there is nothing we can do to earn her forgiveness. Despite this, we returned the $115 for a cleaning that they were very happy with (and they accepted the money). We ended up working for free for this client. My husband and I take this business very seriously and are willing to go above and beyond, even loosing money, only to make sure that the client is happy. In this situation, this client, who was happy with the cleaning and got her money back, was unwilling to forgive due to lack of manpower and a popped tire. This is a service business and we give our all to meet client needs. We were very successful with Groupon, so much so that we decided to run it again. We have many happy clients who have continued services with us and remain clients to this day. Our hope is that those reading this will understand our hearts."
Other licensed, bonded, insured cleaning company's prices were at least $250 for the job. It was a very pleasant experience that saved me money and I now have them come clean my new home on a regular basis. I would recommend their services to anyone without any hesitations!
