The inspector seemed very good and competent. He was recommended to us from a friend. The house was in good shape and only 6 yrs old so there wasn't much to find. I would give him a higher rating except the following:
Punctuality: Our original time in the afternoon had to be pushed back to 4:15pm, agreed upon the week before. When I arrived right on time, he had already been there for a while and was budy-budy with the home owner.
Professionalism: I asked to follow him, but he kept going to get a tool or write notes. He would then disappear and at some point continue the inspection without me. He had already been on the roof and inspected the outside of the house before I got there (I arrived on the agreed upon time). When I found him, he would show me what he was looking at and work with me well. I think he was just in a hurry.
He seemed to be in a rush to finish the job and leave. The report was mostly filled with legal descriptions of why something wasn't inspected (but to be fair, there were not many issues to report).
Overall, he did a good job and I felt confident in the inspection and proceeding with the home purchasing procedure. He promptly sent the report via email.

He did a very good job for us. He is very easy to work with and very thorough. If I was going to buy another home, I would use him again.
