Very satisfied. Paul was prompt in meeting for the estimate, discussed what needed to be done, and gave a quote that itemized the different work to be done, in case we didn't want to do all of it at once. When his crew arrived, I spoke with them about some additional work we had decided on, and in consultation with Paul they modified the work plan and the estimate on the spot. They were careful with plants under the trees, very considerate and cleaned up well after the work. I would hire them again.

Good crew, cleaned up neatly, consulted with us on a very unruly quince bush and took great pains to preserve appearance; dealt with fir roof overhangs---tree looks great; and an aged red hawthorne that had serious need of manicure. I was also appreciative that they asked about weight limit before venturing onto a garden structure to get a vantage on the hawthorne: yes, it would bear their weight, but it needed to be asked. Intelligent work, proper equipment, mulching machine to take away the chips, and enough crew to do the job well. Appearance of trees first rate.

He did a great job. He also saved a tree that was just almost dead. He did that about a year ago and it looks beautiful right now. He is a certified arborist. I think that's really good. A lot of these big companies send young, cheap ones just to trim and stuff because they kind of train them and they're already arborists. I like this guy and his work.

This company was referred from a friend. He is a certified arborist and knows what he is doing. He was promt on the bid. He did a beatiful job. He brings his own chipper shreader and cleans up after himself. We have a 40 ft maple tree and it is hard to handle all of those branches. When he finished the work it was as clean as it was when he started working. I would highly recommend him. A's all the way down.

We have a large ornamental cherry tree in our front yard. A long, shallow fracture had formed in the trunk due to too many heavy branches. I was worried about the stress on this fracture, I didn't want the trunk to split and for us to lose the tree. I went on Angie's List looking for an arborist and found Paul Heindl on the list amongst many other tree service specialists. Even though I typed in 'arborist' I got every landscaper, tree specialist, lawn care professional in our area, which was annoying. I wasn't sure how to narrow the list down since most of these businesses had great reviews on Angie's List. I was concerned about the tree splitting and didn't want someone who spent most of their time mowing lawns to come out and try to assess the damage to my tree. So for a further reference I called a local plant nursery that I trusted and they said they used Paul Heindl for all of their tree care needs. I called Paul and he came out the next day to look at it. He said he would trim and shape the tree and put a couple of bolts in the trunk to save it from splitting all the way through. He was scheduled three and 1/2 weeks out though, which was a long wait, but worth it because the tree looks great and I am confident he saved it from further damage. So in a way this is a review of a great arborist and also of Angie's List who could do a better job of narrowing down their overgeneralized lists to more specific ones for their customers.

Paul Heindl did an excellent job which included removal and stump grinding of several trees, tree pruning and trimming, and clean up. He coordinated with Avista power company to come out and trim down some trees that were just about in contact with high voltage lines. He was very courteous and professional, responded to our call quickly, gave us an accurate estimate, and performed the work in a timely manner. The yard clean up was really well done also. Our yard looks great now and we are very happy with his work.
