The interaction that I had with Jim Westbrock of GK Hansen Realty was both as a Realtor and as a property manager. We have been renting a house from a personal friend for the past 18 months. Due to this we ended up making some concessions such as allowing the house to be put on the market for the last 3 months that we rented there, even though this was no where in our rental contract. Jim Westbrock was the Realtor that they hired to list the house and every interaction with him was difficult to schedule and his reaction to our wanting the house to be shown by appointment only was to let our friends know that we were the reason that their house didn't sell. This seemed illogical as he had the house on the market for a full year before they moved and he didn't even show it once. This house was not the fault of the house as multiple houses in the area this spring and summer have sold that are similar in size and acreage. When we were getting ready to move (July, 2013), we also agreed to show the house to prospective renters, showings which Jim never came to or assisted with. Moreover, when it came to getting the keys to him, he was loathed to come out on the day that I was going to be finished with the cleaning. He then proceeded to tell the current owners of the house that I was difficult and would not get the keys to him. My husband and I are in the military and move often, but have never dealt with a Realtor or property manager who was so unprofessional. I can in no way recommended his services or the manner in which they are provided.
