Fred Christ Painting

In our first project together it was Fred and his impeccable taste who tied all the loose ends together to create a beautiful interior space with his broad knowledge of color and his exquisite ability to move paint across a surface with technical excellence.  I have never seen a painter - and I have owned and redone many houses in my lifetime - who can so consistently use color in unexpected and refined ways. He found colors I never would have noticed and matched them to new bath tile, and even tile we chose not to remove, creating a stunning space.
Fred is a start to finish craftsman from preparing walls, washing them, cutting down inconsistencies, repairing surfaces and applying coats that read as rich and creamy with depth of color even when using pastels or medium hues.  It is very hard to create a depth of field in color -  especially lighter tones - and Fred knows just how to achieve that.
He also is a master with wood surfaces and exteriors, both of which he did for us in our first project.  He was our first choice for our current renovation - a whole house project for which he is researching the latest in green materials and new colors.  We are thrilled for the chance to work with him again.
A business relocation unfortunately forced us to sell our first place unexpectedly.  It sold in 10 minutes to a person who walked through from front to back, turned and said "I want it."  We believe Fred was no small part of that response.  He is simply superb at what he does.
