Eagle River Development, LLC was organized in the year 2000 through a merger between a general contracting company and an environmental/geological consulting and services firm. The company provides its customers a business having credible vertical and horizontal building experience as well as professional environmental and geological consulting capabilities. Eagle River is a graduate of the SBA 8(a) business program and qualifies as a Minority Business Enterprise. The company also participates in an SBA approved Mentor-Protégé program and has a successful Joint Venture (ERLK JV) in effect with one of the regions larger construction firms. Recently the Joint Venture entity has successfully completed a 27-home housing development and community center at Inchelium, WA. Eagle River employs a staff of project managers, superintendents, operators and craftsmen-a team that has experience and that has successfully completed more than 500 construction and professional consulting projects. Eagle River maintains a perfect L&I safety record (EMR 0.89), high standards of work quality and craftsmanship, technical know-how, integrity, financial strength (D&B rated), and large scale project bonding capacity. Partner and owner Richard W. Curtiss is a member of the Spokane Indian Tribe and has over forty years’ experience in numerous building and civil engineering construction projects. Partner and owner, John F. Wark, is a licensed Professional Geologist with over thirty-five years of experience in construction and mining management, scheduling and estimating together with the discovery of a number of large gold mines and successful completion of numerous geological and environmental projects. Together, the owners oversee the company contracts, estimates, schedules, quality control and safety procedures.
