Cut-Rite Lawn Care Services

I called, made an appointment. They showed up on time and did a great job. The lawn was cut and all the trimmings were removed. A few days later, I received an invoice via email which made payment easy.

It was a great first experience with using Angie's list to find a service provider. I called him up and left a message. He called back the same day, he gave me an estimate and we scheduled an appt. He showed up with his crew on time and did a good job of explaining what he was doing. In the end he showed me that all my sprinklers were working and where they were hitting the lawn. He asked me if I knew how to use the programmer and offered to show me how. I said I knew how (I didn't but I figured it wouldn't be that hard) but I ended up having to call him back to show me. He was polite and didn't even charge me for showing me how to use the programmer and checking everything again. Being a new homeowner his professionalism and information was comforting. Thanks Kevin, I will definitely use your services again.

I hired Cut-Rite Lawn Care to evaluate and repair the installed sprinkler system on a home that I had just purchased. Knowing very little about sprinkler systems I talked with Kevin(owner of Cut-Rite) at a networking event. He agreed to take a look at the system and give an estimate on repairs. That Saturday he showed up right on time for the scheduled appointment. I was very impressed with the equipment he had on board. He cleaned the area around every sprinkler and started the system. He found that the system was out of balance and several heads were the wrong type. The sprinklers were also out of adjustment and spraying water onto the house and foundation. He had everything in his truck that he needed to make it right. He spent about 2.5 hours repairing the system while I was at his side asking every possible question I could think of. He knew every answer and relayed it to me in terms I could understand. He explained to me ways that I could upgrade my system by installing a rain sensor. He also advised of sprinkler heads that would use much less water than the ones I currently have installed. He knew of rebates that would make the system affordable. We established a plan over the next two years that will upgrade the system while not breaking the pocketbook. The professionalism between his employees and himself was noticeable. I will continue to use his annual service and encourage others to do the same.
