My router accidently got unplugged and I hadn't noticed. I received a call from cougar wireless around 8 pm saying they had an alert that at their office that my Internet wasn't submitting a signal. They said they waited but it had been down awhile and they wanted to make sure I didn't need any help getting back on line.

They were very helpful and conscientious to get the best signal for us. Installation was well done and the speed has been very good. Compared to all the other wireless providers we checked, Cougar is absolutely the best. Fast speeds. No data limits. 28 ms latency. Competitive pricing. We're very happy with the service. Cougar wireless made the impossible, possible! Yes, we agreed to pay a higher installation due to where we live and all the forests that surround our property, but this amount would be easily affordable compared to what we had been paying monthly for our previous internet provider. Our monthly payment now is $25.00 and $4.00 for insurance which was our choice for weather or vandalism damage. Our speed is incredible now, and we can watch Netflix. We had been paying twice this much and our internet was non-existent. I did call and speak with our previous provider and they said that we almost had no connectivity and if they sent out a technician in the spring they could look at different frequency options, but the result of very low internet speed would be the same. After speaking with our prior carrier I immediately called Cougar Wireless. Taz answered the phone and it was like talking to a friend I had know for years. . She understood my frustrations of paying for something and not getting quality service. She gave me detailed information of what Cougar Wireless could provide for us. I was sold after talking with her. Cougar Wireless' technicians came out early in the morning on February 2014. it could not have been a worse time weather wise. The gusting winds were unbelievable, freezing cold of course with the wind chill, and we had ice and snow everywhere. They worked fast and efficiently and never complained about the weather. We had to have two technicians, for two separate installations so that we could have the best reception for a fraction of what we were paying our last provider. This is the reason that our installation cost was more expensive than a regular installation. The technicians were knowledgeable, organized, and were personable in teaching us about the internet, and helping us get everything set up and running in the house. We have no complaints just accolades for Cougar Wireless! They are a family owned and operated business that make you feel like a valued customer. It is refreshing to have someone listen to what we needed and not talk down to us or try to sell us more and more options. They have several options for plans and they work with you and not against you. Thank you so much Cougar Wireless!!

They showed up on time and did and excellent install in a timely fashion. They go the system running ans explained to me how to keep it operational. Their ongoing monthly service since has performed will most of the time and they have delivered exactly what I expected and needed on a monthly basis since..

Awesome. The tech did not leave until he was sure I was all set including replacing a radio receiver as the first one was bad.

They are okay. They are about the only thing out here and we don’t have cable or anything. So, I would tell people to try them for faster service. If there were others out here, then I would have looked at others too. I am not all that excited about them except for the fact that we can now get our internet without waiting for an hour trying for something to download. We just had a dial-up before. It costs us $80 a month and they have different prices for different speeds. We bought the wireless router ourselves and we still have our old phone. I think the price is about what the other people pay and it depends on the speed you want. We have laptops and an old desktop. So, it is nice to be able to take my laptop and sit outside in the deck and watch the birds. So, that part is good. If you have a router, then you can get around and do stuff. They are the ones who say that they would be here sometime the next day and you will have to wait for them all day. They don’t give you a time slot. They are a new company out here. We have to use them for now. If another group came along with internet service with better service to the customer, then I would probably find out how they are and maybe change.
