I have hired them in the past and had excellent service but this time was different. The tech they sent out started off by asking why I had not converted to a heat pump to save $. He had already been outside to maintenance the HP and didn't realize I DO own a HP. Then he went to the furnace and told me the wires were all crossed and it wasn't working correctly when our heat and A/C have been working perfectly. He spent a long time on the phone with another tech and then said my thermostat wasn't working and blamed my Nest for the issues. By this time my HP had suddenly quit working as well. All of my equipment had been working perfect before he showed up. After 4 hours he called for another tech to come help him. The other tech got the HP back working 4.5 hrs later and neither one of them said a word about my "crossed" wires on the furnace or what happened to the HP. I don't blame the 1st tech but I do feel the company did him a disservice sending him out alone. He was young and seemed inexperienced. In this trade learning on the job is important. My concern now is that I have permanent damage to my HP since they were messing with it for so long with no real explanation as to what they did to get it up and running again.
