Racist company, don’t use them. Have a confederate flag sticker on their truck, as well as several others. It’s one thing to have on a personal vehicle, but entirely inappropriate for a vehicle used for professional jobs.

There were some good things in what Compass Construction did, but way too many bad things out weigh the good. We chose a laminate floor to be installed throughout the house. When we chose the floor we asked the salesman if it was rated for a sub level basement and his answer is yes. However the contractors needed to do a moisture reading to make sure it's compatible with our basement. Compass Construction did not do this and my wife and I were forced to install all new flooring 1 year later at a cost of $10,000 out of OUR pocket. Just a little over 2 years since the construction was completed our house paint (on the outside) looks terrible. We had to bring in professional painters to see if our paint should be flaking off the house so soon after it was painted. I knew it wasn't, but I wanted a professional opinion. Most of the trim within my house is not flush with the wall and all the walls were torn out and replaced. We chose to have actual wood doors installed and they cost a lot. Out of 14 doors (to include closet doors) 5 of the doors were not finished. They were installed without sealing the doors. While work was being finished we were told by Compass Construction that we could move back in and they could easily work around us while finishing the house. First night in our home our main bathroom was not finished and was unusable with our downstairs bathroom being the only one that was usable. The problem was that the stairs were not installed leading to the downstairs bathroom so we had to go outside in the snow in the middle of the night to get to the basement so we could use our bathroom. Second day in the home Compass Construction allowed one of my pure bread beagles to get out. It took 2 weeks before we found him. On a side note the people we dealt with were extremely nice and always there when I called.

Kept in touch with us from start to finish. Fred Anderson personally came out to do the estimate. Discussed all our options and helped us to settle quickly. We had wind damage to the roof during the worst time possible. His crew showed up on time and was very careful considering the conditions under which the job needed to be done. When his lead roofer found more damage than the original estimate covered I received a call and discussed it with Fred and his Lead man. They completed all the work quickly and very neatly. all material was removed and area looked great. We are definitely going to call on their services for more repairs and remodeling in the next year. We highly recommend Compass Construction and Fred. Fast Fair and Professional.
