Alta Pest Control

This company is horrible. They talked my dad into a contract promised him the world, then didn't do what they said. He tried to call them about it but couldn't get through. He went to the bank and had them cancel the payment. Visa investigated and determined that Alta was in the wrong so Alta threatened him with collections of the full contract, so he paid. Please avoid them. They also delete bad reviews in Google. The sales person put his wrong name, wrong address and created a fake email for the contract to go to. My dad only owns a mobile phone. The office when we called to complain didn't care.

We hired Alta past control last year contract is for year This Company is a HUGE SCAM They DON'T Do What they say they do. Don't sign a contract for a year Bugs are still coming in the house there are several times I watched my Video surveillance when they come to the house don't even get the equipment out. The guy came in and out less then 3 minutes. Two times came in walked around the house with a web duster and he didn't even use it DID NOT spray anything then left DON'T WASTE YOUR hard earned MONEY !!!! ALTA PAST CONTROL is a bad Company. NOT RECOMANDEN IT

SCAM. They say you will get services quarterly for quarterly payments which I approved but they are charging monthly when calling to address the issue I was told they wouldnt cancel my service without a deferment plan which I will have to call in January to let them know if I'm staying or not..... If I don't stay I have to pay an additional $300. for a service I don't want.

I love working with this company. All of their employees are so helpful and thorough. Most recently our property was serviced by the most awesome bearded ginger! He spent quite a while meticulously searching for wasps nests (and collected 10!) and almost passed out from heat exhaustion in the process. We are so grateful for his efforts. 11 out of 10 stars. Would most definitely recommend!!

My experience was basically the same as all the 1-star reviews. HORIBLE company to do business with!! The number they gave me to cancel was so bad, T-Mobile would not let me complete the call. I have a note on that number that says 'Block this Spam Number' with 2 exclamation points after!! So they keep sending the agreement saying I have to pay up or they will turn me over to a collection agency. Do yourself a BIG favor and do business with someone else! VERY sleazy business!

Alta will come to your door, use high pressure sales tactics, and sign you up for a contract while not disclosing up front the highly expensive cancellation fees. The kid salesman told me they'd bill me 4 times for 4 treatments. I'm being billed monthly and cannot exit early due to a $300 cancellation fee. Alta will scam anyone and everyone just to make a buck.

Alta has been the worst company and biggest headache I’ve ever had to deal with. They play contract games and trick customers into signing long contracts and then charge a crazy expensive fee that’s more that the service cost to cancel it. They don’t call or schedule appointments when they come to complete the quarterly service, they just show up and “complete” services without notifying the home owner. I have a back yard that is included in the service agreement and they never complete because they cant access it without the homeowner (myself) providing the access. When I call to complain that the full services weren’t complete the head office is rude and unprofessional and lie saying the services were complete and that the backyard was fully serviced, they then try to charge a fee to send someone out again. Once I explain that no one can get in the back yard without someone being home to let them in, then then send someone back out. All the repeat the process again next quarter.

We want to say thank you to Stephen. He came out to service our house today. He was thorough, friendly, and made sure to ask if we had any special needs. He is a great representative for your company. We would like to have him back if he is available on our next scheduled service. We are glad that we switched to your service. Sincerely, Dave

I will never deal with t his company again. We had nothing but problems in their services from the very start. I had to call the owner after the first application, as technician claimed to be there much longer than he was, verified by our camera system, and they had to come out again. I asked the the tech what he was sweeping for and he told me wasps and spiders. After he left, I found two wasp nests in an open area around the 6-7 foot height. I got many assurances from them but nothing has changed. I did finally get to cancel the service after paying the $290 cancellation fee, that I don't agree with as the services were terrible. Customer service was friendly, but again I still got charged their cancellation fee because I didn't want to continue with their service. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone. It seemed to be a VERY quick service and I was completely dissatisfied with them. Beware.

I just want someone to get a hold of me to let me know that someone is coming out or not . I would like to know the day before you come out. Thank you

It went very well. The price was reasonable, and the workers were friendly and thorough.
