They were recommended to me by a friend. Initial contact went well and I provided pictures of what was existing and what we had purchased (New meter base). Bid came in below $1000. Took over three weeks to get the work scheduled. Technician arrived and did a great job for me. He forgot a few things and had to have them brought out. I agreed to have them install the required lights and outlet, which took approximately an hour. They couldn't complete the work for two days and an unsupervised apprentice returned to do it. He broke the inside light fixture and left me a note to install it myself. They used mostly my material, but when the bill came for nearly twice the quote, I realized they charged me for my supplies and exaggerated the hours. I argued and they dropped the price some. I cannot recommend them.

Phone answered right away, scheduled within 5 minutes, technician appeared within an hour (half an hour early). Very friendly and knowledgeable, worked very efficiently, works looks clean. Price seemed a little high for 45 minutes of work with minimal parts, but overall very pleased.

It was good. I've used them before. He's easy to work with and has a fair price. It's a pretty good value for the work that I had done. He gave me a real good bid. I would say Mike Carney with Alpha Electric is a great contractor and will give you decent work at a fair price.
