I've used them for 25 years. I've seen people come and go in the company. They're really good. We've lived in this home for 27 years. They took care of it all. They were very responsive. I know the offie people by first name. I like the fact tat they know me and they know my house and my appliances. They're really good with emergencies. They come out as fast as they can. That's really nice. They go out of their way to accommodate us. I'm always pleasantly pleased that they aren't the worst when it comes to appliances. They're reasonable and fair.

They were contracted by an Extended Warranty Company. They showed up on time and called ahead 20min out. Great. They diagnosed the problem as a freon leak somewhere in the system, most likely internally making the unit unserviceable. Ok. He thawed the frozen temperature sensor. Ok. Put things back together. Seemed very professional. Did not recharge the freon. Not ok. We went from having a working refrigerator and a freezer that wouldn't keep ice cream hard to both the refrigerator and freezer staying above 40 degrees. Not ok. Called the repair company back and they wouldn't come out because they told the warranty company that the unit was unserviceable. If they would have recharged the freon we could have limped along until we could purchase a new refrigerator. Instead our food spoiled and we were faced with having to buy a new unit immediately. After some back and forth they did offer to come back out 2 weeks from the initial service date to recharge the freon. How they thought that was helpful is beyond us. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company.

I have used the Appliance Hospital before so I had no hesitation to call them. I had requested a specific technician so I chose to wait a week for my appointment. As it turned out, Dr. Cory was busy, so Dr. Andy came. He was just as good and professional as Dr. Cory. From my description to the customer service person, he was able to discern the part needed for my refrigerator and picked it up from the parts shop on the way. Avoiding a second trip saved me time and money. He efficiently repaired both appliances eoyj quality parts and a great attitude. It is hard to find service as good as theirs.

They're punctual. They worked with me when our new refrigerator didn't work. They helped me in dealing with the manufacturer. They went over and above a little bit, giving me phone numbers because it was beyond the point that Appliance Hospital could help us and we needed to get a new refrigerator from the manufacturer. They were helpful and friendly.

The repairman was knowledgable, was able to answer all our questions and made honest recommendations. I was very impressed with the service we received and will most deffinately use ABC Appliance Service again. We also had a question regarding a washer. He gave us a cost saving suggestion of someting we could do ourselves and suggested two places we could find the items needed.

Though the young man had fixed the main problem we still had water running out under the fridge when the water was turned back on for the house.
He discovered the hose connection to the fridge for the ice maker and water dispenser had a hole in it. This had been installed by the last owner who ran it through the floor to the basement and into the cast iron pipe in the basement. The repairman was shocked and said this shouldn't have been done this way which was why we were having leaks in the basement.
Well, it was getting late (nearly five pm) and he told us this fix would have to be done by a plumber. I was devastated. My husband was out of town and he normally does the plumbing work around the house. I didn't have the money for one especially for the cost this late in the day.
Seeing our distress, the repairman suggested a temporary fix that would stop the leak until another hose could be attached to the fridge. He showed my daughter (one skilled in such things) what to buy at the hardware store and how to install it. She followed his instructions and we were able to turn our house water back on. I was extremely grateful to him for taking the extra time to help us. He didn't charge me for the extra time spent giving us aid and the charge for the work he did was within the estimate I had been given.
